Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We liked absolutely everything about this hotel.
This is by far the best hotel I have seen in the last year or two (out of about 100-120 where I have stayed). Those who need to stop for the night on their way through Italy will not find a better place. Those looking for a relaxing, secluded getaway will find exceptional views, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. Those who did not intend to come here at all should come at least for the sake of real "haute" cuisine.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Pleasant surroundings. Nice selection of wines and local products to buy and take home. Massage by Regina at the spa was excellent.

It was such a pleasure to stay here. The design and service was superb. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The restaurant serves spectacular food. We will definitely come back.

we liked everything
very friendly and hospitable staff who looked after us wonderfully. Beautiful rooms with great extras like an iron etc. Lovely toiletries and comfortable bed and pillows.

v disappointing breakfast, had no idea if it was buffet or what was available. no bread given, what a disappointment considering the previous lunch and dinner had been great. the room was very small as well

An excellent relais on our trip to southern Italy. Refresh, relax in the comfortable room and in the surrounding park with beautiful old trees. And then have the experience of a wonderful dinner in the restaurant that is rated with a real Michelin-star.

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Lattanzi and it perfectly matched what we were looking for: luxury Place surrounded by nature, full of facilities from very good restaurant to wellness and swimming pool, and perfectly located in the middle of Marche region. The hotel is hidden in the woods in a relaxing area, a few minutes from Torre delle Palme and the see. Awesome atmosphere at this historic fully renovated Villa and plenty of opportunities to have a romantic walk in the nature or a bath in the lovely swimming pool with view to the see. Restaurant is awesome, managed by a young talented Chef, awarded by Michelin. Staff were very kind and helpful in suggesting tours, experiences and other activities to fully enjoy the wonderful region of Marche.

Although the rooms are very quiet, once outside you hear a continuous background noise of the motorway (but somehow you get used to it and they cover it with bossanova and jazzy music). Some oranizational point could be improved such as towels for the swimming pool and we’ve noticed at breakfast and dinner that certain orders (e.g. for drinks) had to be repeated. Nothing really annoying, but you would expect better for this level of hotel. But these are only small remarks, we were very satisfied with the friendlyness of the staff.
Villa Lattanzi is a chique hotel located in a large park, a restaured static building with views on the Adriatic sea. Comfort, restaurant and reception are of high standard, what you can expect from a 5* hotel. Not cheap, but anyhow value for money. Extra asset is the brand new outside swimming pool with stunning view towards the sea. Special remark for the restaurant. We enjoyed the fine cooking and the local wines made by the owners of the Villa. Next time we might als try the other hotel located on the hills where we had dinner one night : www.officinadelsole.it
