I didn't like that checkout was at 11am. I don't know why I remember seeing 12pm when making the booking.🤦🏾‍♀️

Loved how welcoming the staff was from we arrived on the property. They were quite patient and helpful throughout our stay. Special shoutout to Saniya, Tisha, the lady that checked us in and our server at breakfast.🤗

There were some unpleasant mixup for our room change because of a noisy neighbor. We were told we could change rooms later and have the next door room. We were later told during our beach outing that we had to return immediately and were not going to be put in the room we asked for. It was eventually sorted out by the Manager but the experience added a distasteful note to our trip.

The Jamaica Palace is our favorite go to hotel in Port Antonio. The grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is complete serenity, the lobby is elegant, the breakfasts artistic and delightful. Shout out to Morgan who made our birthday guy feel so special, and our attentive breakfast guy server 💖 Highly recommended this place for your special getaway.

Overall the property is quite dated. We had to request a change of our room as the first room was directly facing the sun with no shade resulting in very inefficient air conditioning

There is a glass window above the guest room doors that lets in a lot of light at nights. This made sleeping difficult for those disturbed by light whilst sleeping. There was no way to block out the window from inside, so three sleepless nights!

Not much - all the rooms should be upgraded to the modern configuration over time!

Lovely property with helpful, friendly staff. Nice breakfast out on the terrace with a friendly cat or two! Pool area looked great but the weather did not cooperate (Feb 2024). Port Antonio, Blue Lagoon and Frenchman's Cove not far away. Car is very useful to have!

Tranquility was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The shower however was a bit narrow and could be bigger base on the size of the bathroom

The property was awesome - it’s literally in an old castle and it’s expansive and fancy and really nice. The bed was very comfortable and everything was extremely clean. Food was really good too, the breakfast had so many courses and everything was yum! Staff were all lovely and helpful.

My room door knob fell off so I couldn’t open the door from the inside. I felt like they took a minute to fix it. Also the phone in my room didn’t work so I couldn’t call thankfully I was right next to my sister so she could call to get them to fix it.

The bad road...road presently been worked on which makes travelling very rigid..the dust..hope they complete work soon.

The parish is very beautiful..The property is very beautiful over looking the lake...the room and bathroom are antique but the place is comfy.
