Be aware!!! We were shocked. From the Booking, you have no idea, in which of the 3 floors you will have your room. I would say, that in the 3rd floor rating is 2 (grey carpet), in the 1st and 2nd - 8/9 (red carpet and parquet). It was so disappointing. We usually stay only in the hotels with rating 9,5+. I wanted to feel the charm of the old monastery and hoped that rating 9 would be fine. To see that carpets both in the room and in the hall are covered with many, many stains, and the towels ragged, in the hotel with rating 9, was such a shock! And then I understood... The 3rd floor is something like a special place for second class (I have no idea, how they make these segretative decisions, but I felt humiliated and could not even write my review for 2 weeks, it was painful). I was with my husband... 50 years old... in the room with stained floor, rugged towels and shouting teenagers (some camp?) in the surrounding rooms. We had double room. In the photos (Booking.com) there are 2 different types of double rooms - with parquet floor and "carpet". And the same price!! You will never know. It's not like it was the difference between double and deluxe double room. They have different double rooms:):)

We really enjoyed being there! Hotel is placed in historical building in the center of Old city so location is perfect. Everything is clean and staff are very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast! It is a perfect place to stay, highly recommended!

Rooms are very comfortable. Staff is very kind and helpful. Localisation of the hotel is great. Maybe I'd change a breakfast. It should be more varied. But this is not a disadvantage, because food is tasty.

everything is perfect… may be just earlier breakfast time for most of us who are up and ready earlier than 8 am.

The most friendly staff ever, ALL the staff. Unbelievable BEAUTIFUL smiles no matter what - Even when we arrived at 2:00 am we were greeted at the hotel door by “Alena” who is sooooo friendly and helpful.

Very rarely you will take such cleanliness as in the operating room! Super comfortable beds, perfect bed, cozy rooms, architecture, calmly, incredibly good aura, excellent value for every taste, all belonging in the shower. Nice and smiling staff. Solid 10 !!!

The room was very small - in the past it was a monastic cell. It was cold in the evening.

The hotel has a great location - right in the center of the old town. I also want to note that the hotel staff allowed us to check in earlier than the specified time. The breakfast was really good and varied.

The breakfest was quite basic, but enough.

Very nice comfortable beds. Silent room. Shower was fine, no spilling of water outside the cabin. Lift worked well. Friendly and nice staff. Excellent location just at the edge of the old town.

Beautifully adapted former monastery, conveniently located in the city centre close to public transport and good restaurants. Very helpful personnel, quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast.

It would be great if this hotel had a child friendly breakfast options at a smaller price. As my kids eat only one croissant for breakfast (which was not available), I did not want to pay 10€ for them. But I came prepared. The only thing I missed is the fridge in the room as we always buy fresh milk.

Superb location in the heart of the old town - you can easily walk to the train and coach station and to all major tourist attractions. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Hotel was very clean, quiet, beds very comfortable. My children were impressed with wifi. Our room was spacious and warm. I also liked the fact that it had historic past. Breakfast is served in a nice and spacious cafe room - maybe it had less choice than usual hotels, but for me it was perfectly enough and everything was fresh and tasty. All hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come again!
