-The room staff were so helpful. I had a bit of a situation and they helped enormously. -The room was quirky and cosy -I have to have special coffee and the staff were happy to make it for me -My bike was happily stored inside.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our large and varied breakfasts. Our room was clean and comfortable and the building was a beautiful and old collection of riads joined together with a large roof garden. We went on three trips in a private taxi organised by the staff and we were well looked after by the taxi drivers. The people of Meknes were friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Riad D’or is easy to find, inside the Medina of Meknes. The terrace is amazing, the room very comfortable, great staff and good places to work. I spend some time online at the court yard and there was a good wifi connection. Also visit the Dar Nia restaurant they will recommend! You won’t be disappointed !

The staff were absolutely exceptional - always helpful and cooked a great dinner and breakfast. The riad is a windy, quirky and massive place with so much character and in a great location.

The price I ended up paying was almost double than what I reserved it for on booking, and no valid explanation was provided.

The room was spacious with a great view of Meknes. The riad itself is splendid and the location is very central. Easy to get to everywhere in the city.

Unfortunately the pool was closed. It was probably considered too cold for swimming our but kids would have been keen for a dip! Good plumbing must be a challenge in these old medinas as our bathroom flooded every time someone had a shower, but it was an easy fix to clean up. And unfortunately, as much as we love all the stray cats, clearly some had been in the apartment as there was a very strong cat pee odour in the room. Beds were hard, but we are learning that is the norm in Morocco. Please don't let these things put your off a stay here.

This was a real treat for us to be able to stay in such a gorgeous Riad in the heart of the old medina. We loved our stay here and the whole experience was made even better by the very kind and accomodating staff. The family room was large and comfortable with a big private terrace.

The staff were incredibly gracious and kind. The building is beautifully decorated throughout and the rooftop magical at sunset. The breakfast was so generous and varied with excellent coffee. I can't wait to return one day.

Our experience at Riad D'or in the historical heart of Meknes was a highlight of our Moroccan journey, largely thanks to the wonderful Sofian. His vast knowledge of the area and genuine enthusiasm for guest satisfaction significantly enriched our stay. From the moment we arrived, Sofian attended to every detail, ensuring our time was not just comfortable but also filled with the rich stories and secrets of Meknes. His recommendations for local attractions were spot-on, turning our trip into an amazing adventure. The riad itself exudes charm and authenticity, making us feel as if we had stepped back in time, yet with all the comforts of modern hospitality. Truly, Sofian and Riad D'or are Meknes' treasures. Just an incredible historical accommodation.

All good but I’m travelling with group and reception lady said not possible to breakfast at 7:30. The lady was ther and heard she said not possible to have that early and she said she will do it. Was a beautiful breakfast at 7:30 thanks to that lady . Not sure reception lady why refuse wham always taking there guests.

Staying in this Medina is like stepping back in time....high ceilings, beautiful tile work, authentic carved wooden doors, quiet and calm in the middle of a busy city. Extensive roof terrace with many places to sit and enjoy the view. Nice little refreshing swimming pool, great breakfast and delicious authentic Moroccan dinner available on request. As vegetarians we were very well catered for. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

I loved everything.

This was absolutely the best Riad in all of Morocco for us. They are amazing professionals who really care about their costumers. We will return! Forget about half-truths and fake reviews, this is the best of the best.
