Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceWonderful Riad, huge rooms, laid-back rooftop and very well located, out of the crowds of the Medina (meaning it is quiet at night) but very quickly accessible on foot. Youssef was an incredible host, exceptionally kind, and accommodating. He showed us around the Medina, was patient, and educated us on Marrakesh's history. Not to mention he revealed local spots near the Riad we never would have discovered on our own. Can't say enough good things about Youssef.

GermanyThe Riad is not directly in the Medina, it is on the edge of the Medina. This was not a problem for me as I like walkiing and also to be honest the Medina is not a place to be after dark. It is not like Marrakech where it is easy to find your way around. The Medina in Fes is complex with 9500 tiny allees alot looking the same during the day but at night not a good idea.
Yousef was really friendly and always available by WhatsaApp to give assistance or answer questions. The Riad is simple but the rooms are big and nice and cool. The owner has collected art and original objects and has these around the hotel. It is peaceful and easy to reach from the outside of town. Breakfast was good with an omlette if you wanted which is not always offered in Morocco. There are a couple of nice restaurants close by.

RussiaThe toilet in our room was on the second floor. The staircase to it was dangerous. So we don’t advise to take the room on the first floor. It also were some problems with the shower and cold water. The owner of this riad was attentive only to French people.
The location is good. The room was good except the toilet. Breakfast the same in all roads- continental breakfast. But in this Riad it wasn’t the best we had in other cities. But the manager Yusuf and service woman were marvellous. They did everything to make our holidays convenient and helped in any question we asked.

Czech RepublicIt is better to inform via app about time of arrival, otherwise you might wait a bit, as the reception is sometimes empty. During check-in, you will get your key to enter whenever you want, so it is only about the 1st arrival.
The accomodation was really great, we had a really pleasant time at L'Artiste. The manager, Youssef, was very friendly, helpful, furthermore willing to get up earlier and give us a breakfast-to-go, as we hurried for a morning bus when leaving. Thank you, if I will return, I will gladly come back here. The position was quite near historical medina, the view from the terrace was great! The room and surroundings were decorated nicely, there are 3+ground floors of rooms, there is also a possibility to get some nice meal during day (we didn't try).

CanadaRiad is beautiful and on a quiet street. Youssef was a great host, he was always available and answered all questions. The riad itself is beautifully decorated and has a lovely patio. Breakfast was included and was freshly prepared. It was our first time staying in a riad and definitely amazing. Bonus it is also a pet friendly riad. We stayed for a week and for a few days we had a the whole riad to ourselves and it was amazing!

FranceJust, for me, the bed are too hard. The room with the windows on the street can be a LITTLE more noisy but it's just the children who play in the street so it's really ok (no car in the street)
Really good breakfast and meal. The staff are really helpful and gentle. You can be in the middle of the médina in 10 minutes by walk. The staff can book everything for you (transport, restaurant, hamman, spa, excursion). I travel with my baby (2yo) and they put a baby bed in my room

Yousuf makes a lot of difference to the place, who was very helpful. He helped me with the trip to volubilis and meknes Location is decent, a bit away from the huzzle buzzle, and a quite area.
