Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyIt’s a typical Riad, without many windows in the rooms except the very illuminated inner courtyard. Especially when you’re showering the Air could be a little bit bad in the rooms
Very cozy, traditional Riad with a beautiful rooftop. The staff, Achemd was really courteous and 24/7 available. The Acommondtion is directly in the old medina of Fes just next to the lively alleys and markets.

SpainWe wish there were more fluent English-speaking guides for the tours. We felt uncomfortable with one of the guides that kept taking photos of us. Checkout procedure was quite unclear. Had to call repeatedly to receive instructions when no one came to meet us.
Very beautiful interior. Breakfast included was tasty. We liked the location as it was near the points of interest in the Medina.

NetherlandsThe wifi is slow, and the Riad locates within the Medina, so it is located in the small alleys.
The Riad is quiet in the night, so I can get a comfortable sleep. The room is spacious. The host is very welcome too. The breakfast is nice.

GreeceThe bathroom, although very clean, is kind of basic, sliding door connecting it to the rest of the room and the shower is not separate, so it is a bit difficult not to make a mess, but not a real problem for a short stay.
We had just a one night stay in Riad Meski, a very beautiful and traditional Riad, in a great location in the Fes Medina. The manager Ahmed was really very helpful, he arranged a taxi for us (both ways) and he had a colleague of his meeting us on taxi drop off to take us to the Riad. Upon arrival he was waiting for us in the Riad, offering us great mint tea and he was in our disposal for anything we needed during our stay. At check out he took us to the taxi pick up location, making it very easy for us, as we were travelling on a tight schedule. Truly a real value for money choice, comfortable double bed, with a very good moroccan breakfast included. Definitely recommended as a great budget option!

United KingdomThe room was really badly ventilated so it got hot quick but there was a fan that was always running. There wasn't many toiletries and there was dust is a few places so I would recommend it be cleaned more. Also, they say there is a restaurant in the property but there isn't really one so we couldn't get food at the place.
I fell in love with the look of this Riad just from the pictures alone and it was worth it. We were welcomed by Ahmed the owner who was very kind and accommodating for the duration of the trip. The Riad is stunning and one I absolutely recommend visiting. There is a large court yard that feels homely, There is a terrace which has amazing views and there is seating that can be enjoyed. I was over joyed with the breakfast every morning with variations everyday, both delicious and filling given by lovely staff. The location was great being right in the Medina it took us no time to visit all the places within the medina that were worth seeing. We also ventured out of the Medina by foot which was also easy. On the day we were to leave we were allowed to say in the communal area until our flight which was at night Ahmed also saved us by printing our boarding passes for our flight as you need printed ones. So I would 1000% recommend a visit with family.

GermanyThe only issue was the position. We had a bad encounter just outside the Riad, that faces a street often empty. A man told us that the street was closed, and wanted to bring us somewhere where he worked (I hope, just to sell us stuff)... he was very pushy and called us names and even spit on us. We didn't want to go back to the Riad to avoid being blocked with him in the small alley where the Riad is located and to avoid showing him where we were staying, hence we didn't know what to do. I know this unfortunate episode is not due to the Riad itself, however maybe it wouldn't have happened in a more crowded street.
I really liked the Riad, the owner and staff were nice and helpful, the bedroom equipped with everything and the breakfast wonderful.

United KingdomThe owner offered to book a taxi to the airport for us which would cost us 220, however, having asked only a couple of private travel companies around Fes we found it to only be 150, so its a shame that the owner is trying to overcharge his own guests.
Location - 8: The Riad is in the Medina which is very convenient. It looks like a rough area at first but it's actually not bad. Breakfast - 7: Tea or coffee, bread, pancake, cheese, orange juice, yogurt, and butter. Room - 7: The room is huge with 2 beds and a sofa, a bit dark though. The bathroom is fine but not could have have been cleaner. (Make sure to take your own toiletries like shampoo, shower gel, and toothpaste).

United Arab Emiratesthe Riad owner Ahmed was not accommodating when we asked for an early breakfast and instead he gave us some bread with processed cheese in a bag and Yoghurt with no spoons. Ahmed mentioned breakfast is only served between. 9 to 11 am which is not suitable for many tourists who have early morning tours. the bed was not even to sleep in and it felt very old and used. there was long hair in the toilet drain from previous guests which was not hygienic. We stayed for two nights and the rooms were not cleaned in our absence. There was less than half a toilet roll in the room and we had to ask for it late night. No hair dryer in the room and we had to share the hair dryer of the mother who lives in the Riad. the toilet door of the double room with one bed is so small that a normal size person could hardly fit in. Ahmed immediately asked for the money when we arrived which felt like he did not trust us and it did not feel welcoming.
location is very close to the old Medina and the souq Ahmed was responsive to messages on WhatsApp, When I asked Ahmed about where to go and which restaurant to eat in, he was helpful.

United KingdomThe host Ahmed was amazing, great hospitality, and very accomodating even in awkward hours. He arranged a pickup for my wife and I that was ready when we arrived at the airport. We were welcomed at the Riad by a delightful Moroccan mint tea by his brother Yousuf. Ahmed led us to a restaurant as weren't familiar with the area (it was our first time in Morroco) and returned to guide us back to the Riad when we finished dinner. He arranaged for a tour guide and a drop service to the railway station upon our request, everything was timely. The room was comfortable, good quality breakfast and great view from the terrace. It's at a walkable distance from Fes medina (markets). All in all we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We were picked up from the city and taken to the hotel, also we were given advice on what to do in Fez and all useful information about moving around the city. The breakfast was really good and tasty. The room was simple but looked nice and had everything you need. the hotel also has a terrace when you can see a nice view of the city.

SloveniaWonderful riad, charming building and decoration, an oasis in the middle of the narrow and sometimes chaotic streets of Fes medina. It felt a little bit like traveling into the past or some kind of fairy tale. The family that runs the riad is very kind and we felt very much at home. Nice food too. And our kids loved kittens on the terrace. Yes, the terrace is nice too!
