Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThese are not dislikes, but instead areas for improvement: - the communication with the staff was challenging as a British couple. Upon arrival was the most challenging, they didn’t tell us their names, they showed us our room and the terrace but not the Hammam. We were trying to ask if there was a key for the room or for the riad but were not understood or informed, and even once getting up google translate for them, they would reply in french to us and continue to repeat themselves when we appeared confused still. I definitely recommend for them to learn the basics for what they need, including ‘what time would you like breakfast’, ‘how was your day’ ‘would you like tea or coffee’ etc etc. I’d also recommend for them to have a better technique to communicate where they could use google translate on their own phones (they couldn’t translate on mine when I asked as I believe they could only read in arabic) - for an improvement I believe they could have a list of recommended restaurants/ bars etc especially for drinkers/non drinkers - as someone that stayed on the bottom floor next to the courtyard for breakfast, be aware that you’ll be awoken when the first couple are having their breakfast prepared as they freshly blend the orange juice. Everyone also sits outside your room for breakfast so you can hear everything and vice versa - no key for room or riad door and no safety box/safe. Had to carry cash and passports everywhere for safety as all guests had access to our room
- perfect location, very quiet alley next to busy medina - stunning property, amazing attention to detail on every part of the riad - staff were constantly keeping it clean - filling breakfast (although could’ve had some fruit) - amazing terrace with fabulous views

The Riad is beautiful. The lobby and rooms are very stylish and the rooftop view is breathtaking. The riad is very well located in the middle of the medina but you won’t hear any noises from outside

United KingdomAs we were on the ground floor, it was quite noisy in the mornings when people were getting up for breakfast, but that may be expected in a Riad where everything happens in the centre courtyard
Beautiful riad right in the heart of the medina surrounded by loads of great restaurants and shops. The whole riad was incredibly well decorated and spacious, and our room exceeded our expectations too. The staff were incredible, special shout out to Hamsel, who was so welcoming, always there to help, and gave us some great advice for our stay in Marrakech. Very delicious breakfast with freshly made orange juice and yummy pastries and eggs every morning. The rooftop gave an amazing view of Marrakech and the Koutubia Mosque, especially at sunset, and the pool was a perfect addition in the heat of Marrakech.

United States of AmericaThe communication with the Riad was tough. The website was down when we arrived and coordinating a ride from the airport was a little challenging.
It was ok. Orange juice was very fresh, coffee great, somewhat limited. Houmza the young man who worked there was very attentive and kind.

United KingdomNothing specific to the riad!
A stunning riad that I felt lucky to have been able to spend a couple of nights in. The room was cleaned regularly and stocked with new shampoos, towels, rose water etc. Clothes were put up in the closet. Breakfast was always available in the morning. Just lots of little things that made for a very nice stay. A massive thank you to the staff - Hamza, Younes, Hamid, Fatima and another lovely woman (humblest apologies for forgetting your name :( ) You were fab, friendly and very accommodating.

United KingdomThe alleyways to get to the riad are rather unsavoury and I wouldn't have felt comfortable going there alone. The staff don't speak any English which is a bit tricky. The gluten free breakfast was very basic.
The riad is beautiful. We had a huge junior suite and a very welcome electric blanket. The rooftop terrace is stunning with pool and loungers.

United KingdomRiad Safar was an absolute dream. The beds were comfy, the breakfast delicious and the staff so helpful. The roof top has spectacular views of the Medina and two relaxing spaces, one by the pool (not heated) and the other a raised area. The Riad is both stylish whilst still traditional, the perfect city getaway. As it was our first time in Marrakech I requested a taxi to collect us from the airport and this saved us any hassle, (would definitely recommend sorting this before you arrive). The location is great, so many beautiful and delicious food options so close by, as well as hammams and of course the amazing souks for shopping.

United KingdomWe read about the alleyways, but this seems normal in the medina. We never, ever felt afraid. The local people were always very friendly.
Charming, magical and aesthetically beautiful. We loved this Riad: it offered us a taste of the exotic in the Medina. Hamid and Laaziza bent over backwards to help us and the service provided was exceptional. Dinner on arrival night was superb, breakfasts wonderful. Hamid liaised with the taxi drivers regarding luggage transfer: we didn’t have to worry about anything. We loved sitting up on the rooftop, especially at night. Our room was gorgeous and we had a fantastic time.
