We couldn’t fault our stay at Sakkan- beautiful riad in the heart of Marrakech medina. Our room was lovely and spacious, we loved the breakfasts on the terrace and relaxing on the rooftop after a morning exploring the medina.

Beautiful Riad, very stylish and lots of lovely places to chill out. Staff were all super lovely and helpful. The location was perfect for accessing the souks and restaurants.

Every inch of the property was beautiful. Staff was attentive, kind and friendly. Service was exceptional from the moment you arrive to check in, up until your departure. Breakfast on the rooftop as you listen to the birds chirp and the bells ring. The pool is probably the best part, and made me not want to leave. You NEED to book a stay at the stunning Riad Sakkan.

No hot water all the time. This is a bit pity for the price paid.

Location and the property in general. Well decorated. Breakfast with no timeframe. Very comfortable bed. Room well decorated. Great rooftop.

Not to take anything from the food prepared but I would have like to see a bit more emphasis on local Moroccan food

The breakfast was delicious. Situated on a beautiful roof top surrounded by the sounds of Marrakesh waking up bathed in sunshine. The staff were warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The small details in creating a well thought out and beautifully designed space adds another dimension. The coffee was perfect and the breakfast was great. The rooms are unique.The pool a nice extra.There are places to go and drink in the Marrakesh atmosphere and watch the sunset and sun rise. We really appreciated the owners interest in enhancing our experience and she offered us excellent advice on the best places to see, that we may otherwise have missed out on

Literally nothing!

The smell! The staff! The decor! The location! It was serene, clean and glamorous and excellent facilities. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the rooftop bar and riad pool were perfect!!’

The property itself is gorgeous and nestled away from all the hustle and bustle. Ali was exceptional and the entire staff is simply superb. The owner gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. The attention to detail, decor, food and not to forget the beds which were heavenly. A definite must if you are going to Marrakech!

Beautiful Riad in the medina. The pool area is lovely, from the free water and suntan lotion to the sunbeds and setting. surrounded by greenery a real oasis of calm. Amazing staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, thank you for the birthday singing and cake. The team here saved our life and gave everything to their guests when the earthquake struck Marrakech.

I loved everything about this Riad. It still rich in culture with some modern infusion. It is bang in the middle of the medina so proximity is great. The staff were excellent too! I will definitely be retuning.

There is really nothing not to like about this property.

Beautifully renovated. The original features of this old Riad have been tastefully integrated with some modern comforts. The roof garden in particular is a very comfortable and relaxing space. An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby Souks.

There was nothing I didn't like. If I had to find something 'wrong' it would fall under the quirks of being in a riad - from young kids on bikes talking in the ally under our bedroom window at night to voices carrying in the halls and people ringing the bell at night to enter. If you need a perfectly quiet environment, then riads aren't for you.

Beautiful riad with easy access to the medina and beautiful roof top views. I loved the interior design and colour scheme - the green/black/white - so much that I've been designing my own kitchen and outdoor space in homage. Breakfast was fantastic and I can only imagine all food from their kitchen would be delicious! Loved our room, and while we didnt end up taking advantage of the in-room fireplace or huge tub, with a bit more time in the city we would have enjoyed these features.

Sakkan is a hidden oasis in the middle of the Madina. It feels like a luxury hotel met a traditional riad and it's done so well. The place is well designed, the rooms are big and the beds are so comfy, you will find it hard to leave them. The staff is a delight and went out of their way to help us with everything.

We loved the location. Within Medina it is a perfect spot to start you souk adventures. We also loved the style which is mix of tradition and modern. The esthetic of the riad is simply beautiful with lots of plants around you. We also loved the music on the terrace while enjoying amazing breakfast or glass of wine in the evening.
