It was very nice there until the weekend when inconsiderate, noisy Mexicans arrived. Loudspeakers were set up at the hot water pool with tasteless loud music, many children were playing in it, that's actually what the big swimming pool was for. Adults sat together in groups in the pool, talking loudly and obviously consuming alcohol that they had brought with them in their own thermos cups. In the evening in the restaurant, despite the subtle background music playing, the box with their own music was placed on the table, which resulted in a terrible mix... The food what they brought with them was eaten at the tables by the pool, the leftovers remained on the tables... We left the next day. The food in the restaurant is not very Mexican, the selection is not large, there is no change in the dishes.

The location on the hotel's own beach and the hot springs are great, in the sea and in the pool. Very nice area with lots of palm trees and flowering plants everywhere, fountains in between, and the pool is also nice with the loungers around it. The hotel has its own loungers/sun protection on the beach at no additional cost. Comfortable bed, parking space at the entrance. Free drinking water from our own source is provided. Nice place to relax.

Some might say the decor could use a refresh...as the resort still has a Seventies vibe...but mid-century modern is in these days, so we didn't mind.

The opposite of Cabo in the very best way! So relaxing. The location is phenomenal. So are the natural hot springs on the resort, which flow into the ocean, which is otherwise cool in winter. We loved that the same family has always owned the resort, and that they still seem to love hospitality, as they are amazingly hospitable. There were some great special meals and music as well. American expats who live in the region flock to this place for the hot springs and warm beach, and they are very interesting to talk to.

The shower was luke warm and the power went off for a while. The mineral pool was good but it didn't look exceptionally clean.

Loved the pools, outdoor fire, restaurant, palapa bar, pool decks and atmosphere. Loved the beach that was right in front. Great staff. Good prices.

This is the second oldest hotel in the area (50 years old) and it feels a bit dated, the rooms feel a bit shabby but so much else makes up for it. We had a lovely stay at this hotel.

The food was amazing, I would recommend even going there just for the food! Staff was lovely, pool is nice and a beatuiful beach is right there.

The "resort" is run down. No fridge, in room. Fairly pricey for what it offers.

Fairly close to Cabo pulmo. The beach was okay & facilities were okay, but not great. Rooms also, okay but not great.

No Ubers in the area. The rooms are not as advertised. We planned for a fridge and microwave in the room. Nope! One add to describe all the rooms is false advertising when they are different. Room with a Garden view...it was a hedge. Breakfast included is excluded when you go threw a booking company like Bookings.com. Our room was not as clean as it should have been. High winds from hurricanes had just passed through, so they get a pass. Free drinking water, too.

Charming, small town vibe, quiet & comfortable. Stroll the property, enjoy a drink at the bar, swim in the pool & enjoy a lounge chair for a nap. Yes, a lounge chair without rushing to get one in the morning! Enjoy a buffet breakfast. Walk the beach with local cows and burrows if you're lucky, like I was!. A few cats to feed tuna from the local store. A few young woodpeckers to watch while you enjoy your morning coffee. Toes in the sand for a beach dinner.

I was traveling with my 84 year old mother who has a hard time walking. The property is set on a steep hill with lots and lots of steps. Moving safely from our room to the restaurant or to the beach was not easy for her.

I loved the setting- not too close to town but close enough to get there easily by car.

Facility is past it's prime and in a state of disrepair. Bedsheets had stains on them. Have to pay extra for WiFi in the room.

Place still has its charme. Hot tub and pool bar are great, as is the beach just in front. Staff were accommodating with the room.
