Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNot within walking distance to any restaurants etc., so you’re forced to eat at hotel unless you arrange private taxis to get around for dinners and breakfast. The restaurant was exceptionally overpriced and I am sorry to say but the food really was terrible. It has such potential for a great breakfast and dinner with the setting of the restaurant but if only they fixed their food.. Just note this is not really on the hotel strip (despite how close it looks on the map) so it is a (short) taxi away to do any exploring, walking around or eating out.
The stunning lagoon view, and the staff were helpful. The rooms were 3 star standard too, fairly nice.

United KingdomThe bed covers, they were nothing soft and they had stains… I could tell they were clean but you might want to use something to remove the stains because that made me a bit uncomfortable. Also the bed cover need to be a softer material in my opinion. I also wouldn’t recommend to get any room with boulevard view as the avenue is more busy than I thought and room is not sound proof at all, but you can also get used to it. I come from a very silent city, so that bothered me a bit at the start. Room and bathroom are specious!
I liked the location and the hotel facilities! Also staff were nice and useful. Pool is AMAZING!! ❤️

ItalyThey sold a room with a really small “couple” bed. Because of this we had to pay plus 12$ per night to change or room to a “queen size bed”. Also some parta of the hotel looked like broken and old (furniture and others).
The facilities, such as pool area, restaurant with lake view and the size of the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe evening buffet was not a value for the money. How about coffee in the rooms. Very clear that extras were purposely not included. Would have been nice.
The room was clean. My main concern is that the extras like breakfast, water in the room, etc. were very expensive or not included. I felt like I was nickled and dimed.

AustraliaThe cost of food and room service was pretty high, and the quality wasn't worth the price. A bit disappointing as there are not really any other options without catching the bus into the main hotel zone.
Nice hotel, it's a bit out of the way of the main Cancun city, and the main section of the hotel zone. But town buses leave from 300 meters up the road every 5 minutes taking you to both spots in 5 minutes for 10 pesos so not really a big issue. The pool and view is really great looking over the lagoon, and it's directly across the road from a free public beach, and 10-minute walk from the Isla Mujeres ferry.

DenmarkMy stay was without taking a shower. There is no water pressure at all, and warm water is a mythical concept - does not exist. One night the water was completely gone - not even tap, nor toilet. Reception folks can do very little to fix this, it is a fundamental design flaw of the hotel. The water view even though is magnificent, don't confuse it with a beach like I did. There a signs that crocodiles are around, so it's impossible to swim there. Don't take the continental breakfast, it's far from good value. Dinner is completely overprice and low quality, so go somewhere else for food.
Good value for the price, beautiful view from the top floor rooms. The room is spacious, clean, the toilet clean and in good shape.
