Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt wasn't a dislike but it would be great if this hotel had the option for dinner. Having said that there are plenty of hotels in walking distance that do serve dinner so it's not a big deal at all!
Firstly the amazing staff should be the first reason should come here. Every member of staff was so friendly and attentive in all of out interactions and its nice to see familiar faces during our staff. The reception staff were always on hand to help with questions and organising, taxis, trips and they even helped us rent an atv that was delivered straight to the hotel which made the process super easy! The cleaning staff did an incredible job everyday and not a speck of sand was left in the bedroom. The bed was super comfy and waking up on the beach everyday was so dreamy! I loved the added detail of getting tea and coffee delivered to the room each day, it was so nice to sit outside in the morning with the calm and beautiful surroundings. The location feels extremely safe as its based in the jaguar national park. The breakfast in the morning exceeded expectations and the location of the hotel was beautiful. We had planned go to beach clubs before our trip but the beach club at the hotel was he perfect chilled vibe serving great drinks and food at a reasonable price. I would love to come back here and would recommend to any of my friends.

Czech RepublicThe hut is a bit small but ok. What i hated most is that they serve breakfast as late as 9. That is awful in case you want to make a daytrip and beat the crowds. And if you come back before 6, you need to pay for entrance to the national park (the hotel reimburses you in bar credit only for the first fee). And you basically have to leave at some point because they dont have a restaurant for lunches or dinner and you are not allowed to bring any plastics into the national park...
It is a nice place if you want to stay in Tulum at the beach or go to Tulum ruins. Very nice facility, friendly and helpful staff.

LuxembourgTaxi is expensive to go to and from the town. Breakfast could have started a bit earlier than 9am.
One of the best accomodations we have stayed at during our trip in Mexico. Very peaceful and quiet, right on a beatiful beach. We we were looking for something away from the noisy beach bars and this was the perfect location for that. Receptionists were extremely helpful with everything. When I had to leave early for a tour, they gave mea breakfast box. It's close the ruins and also you can take a snorkel trip from the beach since the reef is very close by.

Stunning. Fantastic welcome cocktail. Buildings made from local materials. Amazing beach (and I’m not a beach person). 20 minutes’ walk to the Mayan ruins. Safe.

United KingdomNothing, we had a lovely stay!
This hotel was the highlight of our roadtrip in Yucatan Amazing spot right on the beach, we loved waking up early and drinking coffee while watching the sunset Comfy sunbeds at the beach club, delicious cocktails There isn't much in the area in the evening which means you get the beach to yourself when the sun goes down Staff was really nice as well

United States of AmericaWe had a fantastic trip at Villa Pescadores. We were looking for a relaxing trip on the beach and that is exactly what we received. If you are looking for a party atmosphere this is not your place. I thought that the staff was really nice and helpful and the food was good and comparably priced to the other Beach clubs which is a bit expensive compared to in town. The front desk people are really cool and helpful. They bring coffee or tea to your room every morning which was THE BEST. We ate several times at the beach club and only one thing ended up not being very good which was the hamburger which he ordered medium and it came out raw. Oh well, things happen . Probably should have ordered well done. There are a lot of food options during the day but at night the food is a bit limited in the area so I would suggest a big late lunch or dinner on property. The property was beautiful and very relaxing. In the room they provided a safe, bug spray, sun lotion, shampoo, body wash, conditioner and hand soap which was great. They also have a ceramic water dispenser that they fill up and we used that our whole trip. Bringing a refillable water bottle is a must. The air conditioning is cut off during the day but we didn't find that to be inconvenient. They offer bike rentals for a price but we did not use them. The hotel also offers yoga twice a week for a donation to the teacher and I really enjoyed that. There was only a couple of us and I really like the yoga teacher. About a 10-minute walk to the ruins which was great. Keep in mind that you do have to pay 61 pesos to get into the park if you enter between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and that has to be paid every day if you leave the park. The hotel will credit your bill for the initial park entry. In addition, plastic bottles and some other restrictions apply in the park but we were able to bring in a little beer and wine secretly. I was told that sometimes they search vehicles.

United States of AmericaThe food menu and preparation did not rise to the superb lovely of every other aspect of the property.
Villa Pescadores offers beautiful private villas set in a white sand tropical enclave right on the beach in the quiet, more modern Tulum National Park area. The accommodations are both charming and elegant with smaller thatched-roof cottages with one queen or two twin beds, all opening up to pleasant private decks right on a sandy, palm tree shaded promenade that runs through the property. There are also larger deluxe top and bottom duplex rooms with two queen beds that also spill out to the promenade that opens one of the nicest beach areas in all of Tulum. Conveniently, is where the colorful snorkeling boats depart for the nearby reef. The service, cleanliness and attention to detail is at VP is impeccable, with special kudos to the front desk manager Jamie and her crew who quickly responded to any request. VP is within walking distance to the Tulum archeological park, though requires an expensive cab ride to get to Tulum Centro. I strongly recommend renting a car. One cab ride per day will pay for it. Having your own car more affordably opens up the many tours of archeological sites, magical cenotes, mystical ceremonies, and Myan communities that are the heart and soul of Tulum. We splurged on the tours led by Pluma of Pluma Conscious Tours. With us providing the transportation, these private tours cost about the same as group tours, and Pluma is a soulful gem, very connected with the Mayan community, speaking English quite well along with Mayan and Spanish. He even gives surf lessons! My daughter and I appreciated the low key, quiet ambiance of Villa Pescadores while just a three minute beach walk away we loved the soulful elevated, somewhat noisy vibrations of the Ikal Tulum Hotel.

Czech RepublicIt was very difficult to communicate with the staff at the hotel restaurant. Because they don't communicate well in English, there were several times they brought the order wrong and never acknowledged their mistake. So we had to pay for a things we didn't order. In general, prices in Tulum are fantastically expensive. As a transport, you can only use a taxi (there is no public transport), and its price is more expensive than in any other country. The location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient and taxis were too expensive so we couldn't go everywhere we wanted. The hotel also asks for a certain amount of deposit during check-in, when we checked out, they told us that after 2-3 days your money will be credited to your credit card, but 10 days have passed and we have not received our money back yet.
The rooms, the area of the hotel, the proximity to the beach, sunbeds were amazing. The staff was very helpful with smiling face. I loved the cleanliness, peace and quiet in the area, the sand. It is a great choice for yoga lovers. Yoga classes with an instructor are also arranged several times a week, for which you are only required to pay tips.

Czech RepublicThe hotel is located in the national park that brings special authentic vibe to this place. A lot of nature, chill out & calmness. We loved it! It was great for us since we were with children & wanted to be far from the party zone. However if you plan to party, go out every evening, then you either should choose smth close to Zona Hotelera or rent a car. It’s around 20 mins drive from the hotel to the party locations. Staff was very helpful & friendly! Food, seaside, pool, room cleanliness (especially size of the pillows) - all was great!
