When the tours start at 8:20-30, the breakfast room should open up earlier than 8am.

The only reason I didn't give the staff the top rating is because several of the office staff didn't speak much English and I speak very little Spanish. But it worked out. Patricia was the best! There wasn't a sign in our room saying to throw the toilet paper in the waste basket so we clogged the toilet! Staff was very nice about it though. The room, Catedral, didn't have a window to the outside which would have been nice. The room had a small rug between the 2 beds which is a tripping hazard. The information provided by the office staff on the SunTours was inadequate. We were not made aware of all of the extra fees and tips not included. But the tours were great. I will definitely recommend Casa Divine to friends.

Our room was behind the office, which was very dark, but probably because we had a king room, and kings aren’t common in Mexico. We had trouble with the toilet three times, and once with the sink. The staff took care of them right away, but the toilet became an issue by the last day. The hotel charges for coffee in the room each day after the first day, as well as anything extra you order for breakfast, which I think is annoying and uncalled for with what they charge for the rooms. They didn’t even cancel the charges for the coffee after we had all the problems with the plumbing- not good business sense. There’s a dog next door on the roof that barked every morning and we were on the ground floor; we realize that can’t be helped, but at least a warning and apology for the noise would have been nice. Otherwise, very quiet.

Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood with tree-lined streets. Great breakfast staff!!! Nice small bar on the corner, and only a few streets from the zocalo. Room and courtyard very nicely furnished and comfortable.

we were 3 guests in a Juior suite. But we had to ask for the 3rd bathtowels and the 3rd glasses all the time. SOFABED semed not to be used for a long time and it was very old and uncomfortable.Unfortunately, one of us who used it was bitten by PLUGAS or Garrapatas. We, other two wanted to complain about it, but the person who was the victim did not want to complain, as she was a very very nice Japanese lady. Since you asked to fill the survey, I should tell you in a loud voice to get rid of the Sofabed and get a new one for the future gurdts.

Breakfast was excellent. I liked Huevos Estilo Mexicano, pero no tenian que dar tres huevoas cadauna de nosotroras. The cooks and waitresses were very nice and kind. All the employees, Patricia, Julio,Yahl(?) were very kind and thoughtful.

The distance from main hotel building - you have to take a taxi to get there for your breakfast. The hotel pays for such transfer, but still it is rather inconvenient and we used the option only once out of 3 nights stay.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The entire staff from the doorman to office personnel to the waitress and kitchen staff were incredibly nice and helpful in so many ways. The hotel made it incredibly easy to communicate with them and made every request happen. The breakfast and food service was amazing! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Centrally located and minutes away from many major points of interest, Hotel Casa Divina is an excellent choice for Oaxaca newbies. The entire staff was incredible, but Paty and Sergio in particular made our stay fantastic. Paty helped me find a quiet place to work, and Sergio made extra effort to share his knowledge about his city with us. They made us feel at home. While not the most modern rooms, everything was incredibly clean and comfortable. Some of the best hotel pillows I’ve experienced, and the water pressure was phenomenal.

Rooms were a bit dark, especially at night, when the lights to the other parts of the hotel are switched off. Not so much an issue, but my friend was hoping to work from the lobby in the early hours of the morning but there were no lights.

Friendly staff, gorgeous lobby and classic furnishings, comfortable amenities. Very clean. Tasty and filling tamale breakfast! Just a short 8-minute walk to the Zocalo and within walking distance of all of Centro and even the colorful Jalatlaco neighborhood.

The villas are, actually, not at the location of the hotel but further away (15 min). There is a lack of restaurants or leisure activities in that area. However, it is a silence area

It is a ver spacious and clean villa. It has two floors plus a terrace and it really feel like being in a cozy place. Big wooden furniture everywhere!

I can’t think of a single thing that we didn’t like. If you don’t speak Spanish you may have communication issues, but you’ll probably be fine. However as a tourist you should take it upon yourself to learn basic Spanish!

The breakfast was amazing - mole tamales, chilaquiles and fresh squeezed orange juice. I suggested to the cook she give cooking classes to guests because everything was so delicious.
