To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaStairs may be a problem for people with mobility issues- there is a lift but you may need to take stairs to certain rooms, so make sure you let staff know if you have any mobility considerations.

DenmarkVery steep stairs leading to the rooms - elevator available though to the 4th floor, where our room was. It's obvious that the hotel is a bit old, but everything was working. Except for the A/C - we couldn't find a remote for it, but it wasn't needed doing our stay. Has it just been a bit warmer when we visited it would be a problem. But then I'm sure the reception could be of help.
Friendly staff and good location. Walking distance to the different city areas and public transportation close by. Easy to get to the hotel from the airport using Bus 397. Hotel could store luggage after check out.

Our stay was very confortable. The location is just 9 minute walk from the bus station to the airport and from a Spar, is a 5 minute walk from a Lidl. The room did not smell like smoke.

The location is close to the museum area and with 20 minutes walking you can reach the main areas of interest in the city center. I personally loved the orchids they have in the rooms and reception area.

ArgentinaWe missed having a minibar to keep some bites we bought in the supermarket. And this one is typical in Amsterdam, but the stairs were STEEP (the staff are very kind helping with the luggage, though!).
The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, near the museums and the city but in a very quiet neighbourhood. There were free snacks and toiletries available, so that's a bonus :)

UkraineThere was no heating. I could not understand if it was out of order or if the hotel just wanted to save money, but because of a musty smell in the room, I think they don't switch it on in this part of the hotel.
The location is great. It is easy to get to any part of the city in no time. A definite bonus is LIDL is just behind the corner. The room was clean as well as bed sheets. The personnel is helpful and friendly.
