We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful at Hotel Roemer. The location was fantastic for accessing the tram, which can take you anywhere in Amsterdam. Easily walkable to Vondelpark, the Museum Quarter, and Leidseplein. Lovely breakfast. Peaceful street.

BelgiumBecause of the spring holiday prices were overall high in Amsterdam. Within the price range we paid, we’ve slept at more modern and a bit more cleaner hotels. For example: you pay less at a hotel like Mama’s Shelter in London.
The location was good for our plans. Near the museums and a good walk from the city’s centre.

Location was pretty near the center and really peaceful and quiet. Room was large enough, especially in Amsterdam :) Best part was the great staff. Really helpful!

We absolutely loved this hotel! Fabulous location and staff. We booked the quad annex for a family of four, and it was perfect. Midway thru our stay, we awoke early to a very loud sidewalk construction immediately outside our room. But the staff took care of moving us to another hotel for the remainder of our stay. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect, about 600 m from the museum plain and within striking distance of the city center and canals. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. They had all the local knowledge that we needed and answered all our queries.

Location is very good, from my hotel I easily got to city center by walk. My room size was enough for one person. No water inside room, I was expected to see at least 2 small bottles. Coffee machine and tea selection is a big advantage. No flip flops, no bath robe. Ugly wardrobe, please remove it, it does not match with room design at all. Big mirrors in the bedroom also unnecessary. In the morning when in the kitchen they start make breakfast I heard each sound (my room was number18). The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant, make good impression.

PanamaThe bed mattress cover did not fit and was always moving. The windows seemed to not close well so there was a draft. Our sink had a leak causing anything on the counter to be soaked. The hotel fixed it but did not let us know prior to having service done in the room. This was not considerate and we should have been notified prior to the repair. The key never worked to enter the main door to the hotel.
Great location near many of Amsterdam's attractions. The room was a good size making our stay more comfortable. We especially liked the jacuzzi tub.

United States of AmericaMy room was not properly cleaned prior checking in. The carpet looked dirty and there were stains in the bathroom and dust in wardrobe. Even the coffee maker and tea cups were dirty.
The hotel is an accessible part of Amsterdam. It's close to the road but tucked into a nice neighborhood, where you couldn't hear the hustle & bustle of the street. You could walk to most tourist attractions, and public transportation is easily accessible. Hotel staff were pleasant, and my room was spacious. Wifi connection was great.
