Room was not ready by 13:30, despite my wish to arrive at 11. The attic room is extra small as well as the bathroom. No elevator and steep stairs - not convenient for elders and people with lots of luggage. Bed was okay but not very comfortable. The shower head is mounted on a wall in a fixed position, very inconvenient. On the checkout morning there was no water, so I couldn't shower.

Good price for Amsterdam. Good location, not too central but quick to reach anything. 40 minutes from the central station by foot, 20 by tram.

- Too many stairs, if you have a heavy luggage and is staying on the 3rd floor, you will have some trouble going up with your luggage (there is no elevator) - The room we stayed is small with no good space to open your luggage without compromising the room corridor

You had to eat your breakfast in your room. It was not a substantial breakfast just a crossaint, waffle and piece of bread. Rooms very cramped

they charged an unrecognised cost to my credit card after 2 months, upon enquiry the staff mentioned that it is city tax, where as the city tax was already included in the price. this was really disepointing.

shower wasnt very good and the pressure kept fluctuating as well as the temperature, the bathroom is also small so flooded easily as its more of a wet room and this was ideal considering the step was barely taped on and was more of a trip hazard. the breakfast was grim, we only attempted it once and there was nothing really worth eating, my partner tried to have scrambled eggs on toast but bread was still frozen and no toaster. flight of stairs to rooms another staircase down to reception, we were lucky and only had another 2 flights of steep narrow spiral stairs to walk up rather than being at the top of the building. oh and theres no safety on the windows apart from a useless bar... 3 powercuts out of the 5 we stayed

The location was great, the trams were only down the road but it was an easy enough walk into the city. the hotel is literally next to vondel park so this was a great place to go for a walk and just watch the world (cyclists) go by. the rooms were okay, beds were huge and comfortable, they seemed clean enough.

It's not a case of not liking and you have to appreciate it is Amsterdam, where in parts the properties are very narrow and tall, so if you want a bigger room and perhaps not have to use stairs, or are staying for longer, then go for a more main stream central hotel, but it was perfect for our short stay of 2 nights.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet and quite residential area of Amsterdam but in very easy walking distance of the Van Gogh museum, a nice park close by and also friendly bars, cafes and restaurants and good location for tram stations to get back to the centre, I would choose this location and hotel again.

The room was clean, but the hallways and carpet can be cleaned more. The breakfast is basic but anything you get it’s always a bonus due to breakfast being included in the price.

The hotel is a bit old, and renovations would help a lot. The shower splashes all over the floor and toilet.

The hotel is located next to a nice park, slightly off center but 10 minutes away by walking. The staff is kind and did their best to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast, while simple, was affective and adds value for money.

I don't like the toilet and shower area because there is no privacy i mean the window is open like no curtain or blinds like totallu glass only and people outside or other building can see you naked. Especially at the other side of the building has a contruction site going on. And the shower area when you go shower all watwr is spreading unyil in the toilet bowl like literally all floors wet because the drinage in the shower is small. And i recommend that much better you havw only a few bag or no luggage because the stairs so steep and narrow. Much convinient idlf use backpack. Everything is okay but can be more have improvement on the shower area.

- Unsuted for famalies. - Very steep stairs and no elevator, climbing it up or down with a large suitcase is quite a challange even for a fit male, and almost impossible for a femile. - Very small sink inside a shower cabin - not very convinient set up - An exposed power socket in shower cabin - I can't understand how it is legal anyway!
