To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsLike everything in Amsterdam, it is not very cheap. Machine near reception were you can buy bottle of water, juice, candy, etc. No minibar (with drinks) in room. Breakfast was not included in the price and a bit pricy (15 euro per person). A bit far to walk to the center and back. No parking. Parking garage close by, but that is not cheap (60 euro for 24 hours).
Good hotel with a nice clean room. Coffee and thee available at room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is good, very close to the Museumplein. Very nice breakfast with lots of options (unfortunately it was not included in the price).

United States of AmericaThe curtains for the shower kept encroaching upon our bodies as we tried to shower. There weren't any barriers or inclines to keep the water from spreading to the rest of the bathroom.
Room was cleanly and had all the amenities, the location was within walking distance of the Van Gogh/Rijk Museum, a good center point of the city. We didn't eat breakfast but it was offered. The water was hot enough for my girlfriend and I and everything worked.

EcuadorI was surprise someone checked on me, while i was relaxing in the room..around 10h30 maybe. not sure really why. I felt actually tempted not to answer the door but i didnt want to be unpolite.
perfect location, room was clean. we did not breakfast in the hotel as we considered there were enough alternatives in the near. the bakeries in amsterdam are just great! on saturday there was even a market around the corner.
