Nobody was in the area when we arrive, cabin was too cold and internet did not work. After we arrived the owner solved the temperature issue with an extra heater, that was good, but the internet never worked.

Distance to the Camp site fm.the ferry terminal was far (1.2km), especially if you have luggage to dragged.

I thought room will be bigger, but there isn’t a big place to move between the beds

Lack of EV charging.

Location and views were stunning. The facilities were warm and comfortable. Easy access to roads and Flåm. Check in/out straight forward. Good cooking facilities. Parking right outside cabin.

Booking.com says that bed sheets are included for a double room but it is not the case, it's not an issue, just a bug in booking itself. The location in booking.com is wrong, and just leads to the middle of the road, write "Gudvangen Camping" instead. The shower itself is large and comfortable but the shower head is very small.

The top bunk bed was a little high with no side protection so my 8 year old was scared to sleep there in case he would have fallen down. Would have been nice to have a bar on the side of the top bunk to accommodate for younger children.

The property is in a beautiful location. I booked a holiday hut which did have a private bathroom as we were travelling with children.it was perfect size, quite big. Kitchen was well equipped. Checking in is easy. We brought our own bedding and towels. 20 minutes drive to Flam.

The equipement was bare minimum or less. I know it's a cabin for max 3 People. But 3 forks, 2 spoons, 3 knives.... Not even complete.

Probably just nitpicking, but the bathrrom floors are not heated, nor have a drain hole and water comes in from the showers and pools around all over the floors making in uncomfortable to step in later

You have to walk along the highway to get to the campground from the town, without a sidewalk. It's not a long walk, but it isn't very pleasant.

Two bedroom cabin, along with a living room and kitchen. Very nice to have kitchen facilities and do our own cooking, and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked with necessary utensils (but no extra food). We were able to leave our luggage as soon as we arrived, and left out bags after check-out as well. Beautiful views, and nice to fall asleep listening to the waterfall behind the cabin.

The bed in our chalet was a wooden construction of a two person bed and a high sleeper for one. Unfortunately head space under the high sleeper was limited to 4 feet or so, so a bit crampy for one of 6 ft 3. The living room suits 2 not 3. I would suggest to replace the big sofa with something smaller.

Location, location, location. Fantastic views on the mountains with views on 5+ waterfall’s and more if it has been raining, the camping grounds are spacious with a lot of grass, playing fields and the site is near the ferry to Kaupanger and the Flåm-railway. Very nice staff and a little cafe with a camp fire for guests. Facilities were excellent and clean. The chalet has a covered porch for dining al fresco.

The beds were a little worn out and the dishes needed to be rewashed. Not a big deal.

This was a charming place to stay with beautiful views and can easily walk to the village and fjord. Also liked the common areas and a place to barbecue. We stayed in the cabins and they were very comfortable and a great value!

There is no charging station for EV near the cabin and on the campsite in general. The nearest one is about 800 meters at the Shell gas station

While convenient, there is a fair amount of traffic noise from the main road, though it is calmer at night. This is the only reason we wouldn't stay again - we would prefer someplace quieter and off the main road. But if you are coming by bus this is probably easier to get to, and for families with kids there are lots of things to play on and entertain them. The only other thing we didn't like so much was the bed - it was a bunk bed with a double on bottom, single on top. The top bunk is so close to the bottom bunk there is very little space - you can't sit up and the person on the inside feels "trapped" as it's very difficult to get in or out of bed. We ended up sleeping separately in top and bottom bunks. If we had a child with us, I don't think that we could use this bed. The mattress on the bottom bunk also needs to be changed - it is too soft and old. Also, beware that in this type of cabin in Norway you have to pay extra for towels and bed linens, so either bring your own or be prepared to pay an extra ~10 Euro or so.

The location is beautiful and convenient - right along the main road, and surrounded by waterfalls, just as the pictures show. We were in Cabin #8 and it was nice having a private bathroom with shower. We had everything we needed in the cabin - coffee maker, utensils, etc.
