Location was perfect. It's located in a little upper hill but only took us maybe less than 10 minute to the town centre. I stayed in a studio suite with a view to the lake. It was spacious for two people. Great bathroom too! looks like it was recently renovated.

Wish places would not use carpet .. carpet attracts dirt , chemicals are used to clean it . You walk barefoot in it .. you take in those chemicals . But this applies to all places .

When we checked in, we were allocated a studio on the ground level looking out to a wall. When I called the reception and said this is not the unit I had booked and it's the one with a balcony, we were shown another identical unit looking out to a wall again. I showed the staff the pictures I saw when booked and it had a balcony and one of the reasons why I booked this place. She kept insisting it is the one that looks out to a wall. 20 minutes down the line I was still trying to make her understand that I chose the room with a balcony as per the pictures. When she started showing me the options on bookings.com we came across the studio with no view option which was slightly cheaper and was looking out to a wall, which I had not booked. This time we were offered a one bedroom unit with a balcony. So in the end it all worked out and we were very happy with our stay however the staff didn't seem happy with us finally when it all got sorted. The bedroom tv couldn't connect to the internet from later in the evening. We didn't want to further disturb the staff after our initial incident so not a big deal.

One bedroom unit was a good size, bed was very comfortable, amazing views of the mountain and had a washer and dryer. Free parking was why we had initially booked this place.

spa was out of action and car parking horrendous. Need to at least have a ticket that must be displayed for those entitled to parking. Left car and walked at times as didnt think a park would be available on return.

Security. The site can be easy access by outsider via carpark entry and a door which only lock after 9.

Road works out the front made finding property and access a little tricky. Parking is very limited, we were lucky to get a park on the side street. Rooms are not easy to access with big suitcases, lots of stairs to be navigated.

The staff were friendly and communications were good for after hours check in. It was a nice walk into the waterfront.

Could hear everything that happened outside our room.

Staff were lovely at every interaction. Room and facilities and the fact it had a laundry in the room. Very close to down town. Could see the Remarkables from the patio.

Very quiet room, no dishwasher or coffee machine in room as described but did not need. Very good kitchen facilities. A short walk to town. Bonus being able to walk and not pay for parking. Definitely stay again.
