We had to ask for a third towel - but Hugh came back from town to bring it. We stayed for 2 nights, and when reused the towel on the 2nd day, it was still damp. WiFi cut out quite often, but it might have been the weather…

The rooms are in the bush, you look out over the trees from your bed, lots of native birds and the eel. Very good mattresses - also on the bunk bed. Note that the rooms are just for sleeping - any eating or sitting around needs to be done in the beautiful open air kitchen

Our cabin was a little small and not much room for luggage.

Lovely location amongst the wildlife. Great cabin arrangement with communal cooking facilities. The host (Hugh) was fantastic…very knowledgeable and great with our 4 year-old son. As always, just wished we had time to stay longer and explore!

not much to NOT like. Hugh was in the process of modernising the chalets during our 2 nights there, which didn't impact our stay.

location was excellent. super quiet & very peaceful in a stunning natural bush setting. the kitchen is well equipped with all the mod cons although we didn't have meals here as we were on the go from the time we arrived. Hugh, our host, is really welcoming, down to earth & genuine.

Like the whole layout of the Potter studio and kitchen/BBQ area. Loved the ferns, plants, and creek. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and more. Hugh is a wonderful host who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Will definitely book again.

The beauty of this place is truly enchanting. Nestled within a serene forest, the gentle chorus of crickets and the soothing rush of the nearby stream create a tranquil ambiance. The impeccably clean and well-equipped outdoor open kitchen was a delightful surprise, offering a complete array of kitchenware and cutlery. Our personal patio provided a perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee. Undoubtedly, it's a place of great value, and we're already looking forward to returning and sharing this hidden gem with more friends. 🌿☕🌟

Our private bathroom was in a different building, other cabins have inhouse bathroom. But this was not a big issue for us.

Hugh is a fantastic and committed host. The cabins are complete and comfortable, the mutual kitchen functioned during our stay as a meeting spot for the guests to exchange experience but leaving enough room for privacy. For us a reason to book here again for our next visit

The bathroom was a short walk from the cottage, which during the night was inconvenient.

It was fun to be in a secluded setting, surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds. We made use of the great shared kitchen. The room and bed were comfortable. Hugh, the host, was friendly and gave helpful suggestions for activities in the area.

Just friendly feedback and a very minor detail - a bottle opener would be great to go with the wine glasses in the studio.

Our accommodation was cosy, private and perfect for my partner and I. I loved the new lamps Hugh brought back from Thailand. The whole facility is incredibly lush and the communal kitchen looked amazing but as we were only staying a couple days, we didn't use it. Hugh was approachable, informative and just a top bloke. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time to try out his recommendations.

The cabins are located in a beautiful peaceful woodlands. The cabins themselves are very clean and tidy. The shared kitchen is lovely, with an eating area next to a small stream. Our host was very helpful and gave us some great suggestions for things to do during ou stay.
