The garden room i stayed in was quite far from the main beach and restaurant which made the walk back and forth a little long but not enough to ruin the experience by any means. The room i stayed in was also just okay and seems outdated compared to the other rooms on the property. However the bed was large and extremely comfortable and staff kept the room very clean and well stocked with towels, bath essentials, and water.

I really liked how attentive, accomodating, and friendly the staff were! The food was DELICIOUS. Large serving for the price (esp in a hotel/resort) and menu is very diverse, which made me feel no need to ever leave the property to go to the main bohol beach for meals. The beach and beachfront areas were beautiful with many staff who attend to you promptly. The whole property was so big, beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. The facilities i made use of (pool & spa) were amazing. The outdoor beachfront spa massage was an amazing experience!! Highly recommend this property and will be coming back again for sure! Especially loved the touch of turn down service!

Edy the head waiter and sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable of all wines and which to pair with food. the dive teacher for me and my friend Je-An was clear, precise and friendly so we felt safe and secure during our first diving experience and diving refresher. The room was impeccable. The only 5-star place in Dumaguete area.

Amazing beach front with lots of lounges to have a nice comfortable day at the beach. Two pools and lots of palm trees. A lot of their food is organic and produced on the farm which you can also visit. The property is outside and you need to take a tuk tuk to get anywhere but it’s nice as we wanted some privacy and the main beach is not as clean and well maintained as this beach.

Our room was mostly great except for one thing: the door knob in our bathroom’s not working well. I think it’s should be replaced already.

Food was awesome! The buffet breakfast was so worth it. The beds were very comfortable. The location’s great and i think it’s the best hotel with white sand beach in Panglao.

The only slight niggle is there is a slight pee smell coming from the toilet from the villa we stayed in even when no one has used it.

A beautiful place, just truly stunning and peaceful. Everyone working there was so lovely, helpful and easy to talk to. Top service and breakfast buffet was amazing too!

The beach looks nice, but does not have such clear water as other islands of the Philippines we stayed at. Overally this was the worst beach, but still compared to some Bali or Thai beaches much better - simply the standards and expectations at the Philippines are much higher than in other South East Asian countries.

The resort has a nice location and is designed in a very pleasent way. Although its big, it is very spacious and you do not have the feeling that it is crowded. The room was nice, comfortable and calm. We very appreciated the breakfast buffet, it offered a very wide selection of meals, beverages, sweet pastry and exotic fruits. The personnel was very kind and friendly.

I chose the option to pay in the hotel but a few days before the trip, I got a message from my bank that my card was used to "pay" my room. I was informed when I was in the resort that it was just a "float" which my bank confirmed though I still think everything could have been done when I got to South Palms and not 3 days before we arrived.

We have gone to Bohol 5 times from Jan 2020 to Feb 2024 and stayed in 4 Resorts. We just tried South Palms in our last trip and we wish that we stayed there earlier. It's our current fav and will continue to stay there in future trips. The Beach front was really great! It's like staying in Station 1 (Boracay) without the crowds. The food was really really good, though a little pricier but its not a deal breaker. The service was generally good but a couple servers could use a little bit more training, again not a deal breaker. The room was really nice and always clean (after house keeping cleans up) though a smidge smaller than other places we've stayed in. We highly recommend South Palms Beach. Construction work going on right next to outside massage area. Could have done the wood cutting further away.

Lovely rooms with view of ocean. Loved that they put plenty of drinking water in your room each morning and evening, without charge. Reasonable laundry service and massages. Food was very good, great happy hour. Nice to be able to dine by the pool.
