“Beautiful hotel. Old fashioned style without of character”

  • Retro Inn at Mesa Verde Review Score: 10

“Being allocated one of the ‘Elvis’ rooms was a great start. We loved the retro decor and Elvis photos in our room. The Route 66 shower curtain kept the vibe going. Having a fridge and microwave was helpful. One of the most comfortable and big beds we’ve ever slept on. The breakfast area also had lots of retro decor. Staff suggestions for dining out were also helpful.”

  • “The location on 2nd Ave. is convenient and nice. The room was reasonably quiet - the air conditioner fan rather loud.”

  • “Huge room. Comfortable bed, good hot water, good wifi. Full kitchen but a bit understocked. Complimentary hot breakfast”

  • Econo Lodge Review Score: 7

“Room was OK, as expected. Breakfast a little scarce. Very nice guy at the reception.”

  • Days Inn by Wyndham Cortez Review Score: 6

“Non smokung handicap room was smoked in. The chair was stained so badly, did”

  • MTN Lodge Ridgway Review Score: 10

“We only stayed here for one night but it would have been great for a longer stay. Pleasant spacious room in a newly refurbished hotel and very comfortable bed. I would also like to thank the staff for their patience in parcelling up my partner's jacket and forwarding it by UPS to Denver, where we were en route to before leaving for the UK, after he left it behind and we were already too far away to return for it. While this must have been inconvenient, they were unfailingly polite and helpful over the Booking.com messenger service.”

  • The Durango Lodge Review Score: 8

“Fabulous location easy walk to downtown”

  • Mesa Verde Motel Review Score: 10

“This was a great little motel, recently refurbished in an attractive retro style with attention to detail, spacious and well-designed, with separate wash-hand basin to the bathroom (always useful), and hooks, shelves and sockets where you needed them. Breakfast was provided on site at additional cost in a pleasant cafe-bar area, and there was a natural foodstore nearby, which was handy for picking up lunch sandwiches. This was perfect for our 3-night stay and one of the better value for money places we stayed at during a 3-week trip.”
