Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Switzerlandspa limited hours just insane. at least it shall be optional for mrng and evening. after cold rainy day you want to go sauna and hot tub. It’s rather strange policy to get it on limited morning hours which just gives you needless stress and planing. spa hotel shall be it not only for 3 hrs per day.
location, prices are not very high. simple nice rooms. stuff very polite.

FinlandSpa included in the room rate is available only from 7 to 11 AM. Of course, additional charge is not huge, but still feels weird. All over the world I never met such a practice in 4 star hotel. My request for the medium rare steak wasn't heard and I got well done spoiled piece of junk. Waiter said that usually guest do not request medium rare, don't know what does it mean, but it was a huge minus for their restaurant.
The hotel is new and clean, very comfortable. Spa is not big but very cozy and facilities are clean and in very good shape. Nice design, it was pleasant just to be there surrounded by the beauty. Comfortable beds, spacious room. Polite and helpfull personnel. If it would be extra charge for spa, outside given hours, would totally worth it's money. Breakfast was very tasty and diverse.

EstoniaWhat makes me always very puzzled is - WHY the internet in Russia works so bad in so many hotels! I mean, it works, but only after you reconnect to it. And you have to reconnect to the internet EACH time you switch on your device. By default it's not connected! Dear Kravt hotel owners - saving money on basic needs of the guests is a SHAME! Another story, which I don't understand - why recently in all the hotels I stay around the world minibar is by default empty?? Is it some dumb COVID regulation or what?
First stay in this hotel. Actually, it's really good, it's very new and fresh, which is always great and which always makes an extremely nice impression. Choice of pillows, a lot of towels in the room, room is extremely clean and comfortable, fully equipped with everything you might need in the bathroom (spare dental kits, shampoos etc). Nice and comfortable air conditioning system. I liked it.

TurkeyI checked in to the hotel a little late (11 PM), there was no one who spoke English, including the front desk. I came with a lot of suitcases because I used the hotel for accommodation before moving. Finding someone to help was a challenge. I did most of it myself. This was also the case when leaving. Kravt Nevsky Hotel is a place that the residents of Petersburg use as a spa. As far as I understand, those who stay are locals. Interestingly, you can benefit from the spa until 12 noon while staying at the hotel. For those coming from outside the hotel after 12 pm. By the way, I would like to elaborate a little on the spa part. this is mostly in the form of activities with hot and cold waters. Don't think of a spa with massage therapies, lotions, hot stones. and not forgetting the internet. On the first night, a paper with a password and username was given for login. but when I couldn't log in with it, I was told to register with my phone number (like free connections at airports) When there was a problem with this, it was said that the internet did not actually work, and sometimes there were problems. When I said that I needed the internet to talk to my customers and that I had to leave the hotel immediately if it wouldn't work, I was given the password for the internet for the employees. When I went to my room, I realized that it was not working in the room. The next day, I was able to register my wifi with a local phone number and start using it. On the same day, it started working with my own number in the evening.
breakfast was normal, restaurant staff knows English better than the front desk. It's a good place if you are a local. I had two single rooms. so keeping 3 years old with mama in the second room was a nice plan :) thanks for the advice.

RussiaSocket next to bed wasn’t working. Spa is nice, but not comfortable. It’s located on two floors, so you always have to run from the pool to the sauna up and down the stairs and it’s quite wet… A common locker area leads to the showers, so it’s a bit uncomfortable that changing rooms are not separate.
Hotel is new, so everything inside is nice and modern. Reception staff is friendly. Good location and nice spa.

RussiaRestaurant without an alcohol license and a lot of menu items not available, having everything lined up for breakfast the next morning didn’t provide a very comfortable atmosphere, also lack of massage was a big minus.

ItalyLocation: it's far from Nevsky prospect, although there is a metro station at walking distance.
Great spa, but making it accessible for guests only until 11 am is not a good business idea. Guests end up all rushing at the same time, and being kicked out of the spa at 11am sharp. Is it really necessary?
