Close to train station. Communicated well with us as we arriving late. Allowed us to store bags the next day.

Tiny room, not a minimal table inside. They closed the tables room after breakfast. Otherwise it could be used to work with s laptop. Not good for nomad workers.

The bathroom was super small and congested like your knees hit the sink when you're on the toilet. Just a small thing though and wouldn't put me off staying here again

Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful stay I've just had at Birka Hotel. Room was basic but spotlessly clean with super comfortable bed. Despite facing the street, it was also super quiet and I slept really well there. Breakfast was included in my rate and it too was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful with booking taxis etc... I would definitely stay there again.

The hallway was stinky. The shower was too close to the toilet. Our room had no windows, but it’s okay while staying there for a short time and darkness let us sleep like babies.

The hotel is in a good location within walking distance from central station. They have luggage store where you can leave your baggage after check-out. Breakfast was really nice, wide choice of products. Hotel staff was kind and helpful, especially Joelle did her best to make our stay pleasant.

The room was extremely tiny with one small window, walls were painted in dark grey color, so it was quite dark even during the day. There was no separate shower corner, basically you had to shower on top of the toilet seat. Internet connection was quite slow.

The bathroom could do with a shower shelf and a socket to plug in your electric toothbrush or a hair straightener. In the dining room, the table cloth is not perfectly clean – there are old stains on it, so a new one would surely make a better impression.

The tiny room without a window let me have the best night’s sleep of my life. It was quiet and the bed was nice and soft. The staff at Birka is helpful; they gave me immediate help with a beeping door alarm. Breakfast options were satisfying and the bread, rolls and croissants were always fresh. The location of the hotel allowed me to easily reach the city’s landmarks on foot. The towels were changed daily.

There is an unpleasant smell very noticeable on entry to the hotel which was present in the lobby area as well as my room which was on the same level. It was a rotting food/sewage type smell that was there my whole stay and didn’t go away. I saw that somebody else put a review about this a few weeks ago too, but it still seems to be an issue. The room was very, very small which I didn’t mind in itself, but I did not enjoy how small the shower was. It was so small that the shower curtain was clinging to me the whole time which was not enjoyable. The walls in the room were very dirty/streaked - I wonder if a lot of it is from there being no proper ventilation in the bathroom so the whole room gets steamed up. The rooms don’t appear to have any soundproofing, so you can hear everything in the hallways and next door. This was particularly annoying on my second day when there was construction work being completed directly outside my room for 3+ hours in the early evening - I couldn’t relax and could hear every word and sound they made, it would have been nice to have been advised of this occurring beforehand. Finally, the room I stayed in looked directly towards occupied office buildings, with people being able to look in directly to the room, so when I was in the room I needed to keep the curtains closed all the time.

The location is very good, a short walk to everything you need including the metro station just a few meters away. The included buffet breakfast was fantastic - lots to choose from including bacon, eggs, sausages, baked beans, hash browns, cereals, pastries, breads, meats and cheeses, pancakes, fruits, vegetables, juices and hot drinks. It was easy to store luggage before/after check in for free with no issues, and I liked the later check out time of 12. The room was clean and tidy and housekeeping was provided every day of my 3 night stay. The bathroom had underfloor heating which was perfect for the cold days I stayed there. The TV worked well and I could watch Netflix which was great. The price point was also good.

The location was walking distance from central station and 25 min.walk to Gamla Stan. The staff was helpful. There is a luggage room after check out. The breakfast was very nice. Overall good value for money.

The shower room is small, tight for a 6 footer like me.

Location close to stockholm central, and beside subway stop hotorget. Included breakfast is good and many with sausages, bacon, egg, ypgurt, cheese, xold cuts, beans, and coffee! Internet is good as well!

The room and bathroom were on the smaller side. Our room was located at the farthest end so it was a bit of a walk to the elevator.

Location was perfect, just around 2-3 min walk to the metro station. Breakfast was ok, not extensive but just enough for us. Friendly staff.
