Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenIt’s hard to know how to communicate any issues. We had a room (313) where the water heater had problems. Our showers were super hot, and the breakfast lady didn’t know much Swedish. We were not able to get in contact with the main office over the phone either. It was Christmas holiday, and I guess they were closed.
Breakfast is limited but of good quality. Location is perfect - in the center, still very quiet.

AustraliaAs many other reviewers have mentioned, the fact that the hotel doesn’t open until 4pm is an inconvenience. Finding the entrance to the car park, which is two blocks away, was very difficult. Better instructions are needed. The instructions for finding the hotel’s spaces in the car park are better but are rather complicated. The air conditioning unit in the room was noisy. I had to climb on a chair and turn it off in order to get some sleep.
Apart from the late 4pm check-in and the confusing and complicated arrangements for car parking, we enjoyed our stay in this modern, pleasant, conveniently located hotel. Best of all our room had a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board. This combination is a first in five weeks of travelling!

LithuaniaReception staff only works from 15:00. In the morning I’ve wanted to extend my room for one more night so I had to check out and them come back at 15:00 to do it. I think they should consider 24/7 hotel staff
Great location in the city centre, parking is under the hotel and rooms are accessible with elevator

SwedenStaff could have been more engaging, bread was a bit hard at breakfast. Didn't understand how to change the room temperature - no manual.
Nice stylish rooms. Everything you need without unneccesary stuff. Decent selection at breakfast. Lovely with heated bathroom floors

NorwayThe check-in process was not very convenient. We knew that check-in was not until 4 PM, but we were not aware that the reception did not open until 4 PM- meaning that if you arrive early one should keep oneself preoccupied in the city centre etc. beforehand. It was stressful how the staff had to serve both the pub and the hotel, our receptionist was friendly but appeared stressed and we did not feel we could confiscate his time by asking many questions. Due to having AC it was not possible to open the windows in the room, which bothered us somewhat because in the evening the air felt somewhat stuffy and we wanted to let in some fresh air.
The room was surprisingly nice, considering the somewhat gruff exterior of the hotel. It appeared recently renovated with a nice, inviting tone, good beds and a comfortable bathroom. The location was very close to the city centre, and the breakfast was decent, considering the price for staying.

DenmarkThe room had no windows that could open. As a result upon arrival, there was a strong mouldy smell, which lasted throughout my stay. This was extremely uncomfortable. The room was not as clean as should be: black mould spots above the showerhead, red stains on the curtains, fridge was not clean, inside of the closet could use a wipe. Breakfast could have been better, with a cozier set-up as well.
I liked the layout of the room and furniture. Staff was friendly too. Easy to check out.
