I must point out that the beds are not comfortable at all (I got a room with a bunkbed), and the room also has some sort of smell, which I believe is related to the old furniture, mattresses, etc. A renovation would be great. Last but not least, the room should have a fan to support air circulation and cool down the room.

You definitely get what pay for, the price is affordable and the location is excellent, so be ready to compromise on other aspects. As I mention, the location could not be better, the environment is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and easy check-in/checkout. Walking distance to the best sightseeing in Visby, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Shower rooms and bathrooms are always in good condition. There is a common kitchen and a terrace, also very well maintained.

Rather expensive for what you get. In the whole time I was staying, I never saw a single member of staff. The place is owned and managed by a nearby hotel . If you arrive late at night off the ferry you will need to pick up key from bax at hotel and walk down the road to the hostel

Great location inside the old city walls. A 20 min walk from ferry port. Great for a night or two to have a look round Visby (Which is well worth looking round by the way). There is a shared kitchen area that is functional but not particularly well equipped. Small shared balcony area for eating breakfast. Good as long as weather allows of course

The sign for the hostel is up high and not clear - I found the hostel hard to locate. It is a self-check-in process so you do not see anyone during your stay. Showers did not drain properly so there was a cleaning up process after your shower. Kettle was broken. No bedding and as there is no staff there is noone to ask for any. There may be a process for requesting bedding but it was not clear to me. Towels were provided though. Beds were OK (in keeping for what you expect in a hostel).

This Hostel is located right in the centre of of the historic walled city of Visby - fantastic location! Literally everything you want is just a very short walk, restaurants, bars, tourist shops, quality shopping, historic sights, etc. Nice kitchen with a balcony to sit out on. Rooms are a nice size.

maybe get some routine on when to start and pick out the washing machine and get the floor in the shower fixed to prevent as much flooding as there could be.

We stay in July and feel a little stuffy indoors.

The location is nice, there is pedestrian street outside the window. The shared toilet and kitchen are both very clean.

The door of the rooms lock themselves. Luckily i didn't get locked out in the night i arrived, but in the morning with my clothes already on.

The bunk bed, especially the top one, is not comfortable for sleeping. You can feel the metal rod beneath your back.

Close to the bus station and the main attractions, walkable distance to the port terminal and main car rental facilities.

The biggest problem was the curtains. For the summer, you need to have something to cover your eyes, since there is so much light coming in very very early in the morning. I expected them to have very thick curtains. Also, bring your own soap for the shower. There is nothing there.

It is the best value for money if you plan to stay in Visby. The location is really good. I could walk from the ferry to this place and didn't take that long. Then the center of the town is very close as well.

The hotel looks nice, and the staff was friendly. However the hostel is in a separate part that is outdated. There is a funky smell when you enter. The room had stains all over. The air vents haven't been cleaned in ages and make a wining sound. Such a shame, as the location is ideal.

All was good. I would stay in that place again.

Perfect location on one of the main streets with many shops, café and restaurants. From the deck / terrace on second flood you have a great view on Baltic sea and beautiful sunset ( for backyard side rooms, mine was #2), other rooms overlook Adelsgatan what is also beautiful. Terrace itself is very cozy and it was a pleasure to take breakfast outside, enjoy the moment of quietness. Kitchen well equipped. All shared facilities are clean. The room was clean, decent size, big window.
