Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No mini fridge, and the TV was small with no option to connect to other devices. So not the highest value for the price, but we enjoyed our stay.
Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Breakfast was very pleasant (maybe just a little basic). They even prepared a breakfast for the day of our flight which took off in the morning. Perfect location near the supermarket and the gas station, 15 mins of walking from the lake.

Excellent breakfast, staff were really friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations for places to eat. Great nights sleep, beds & pillows really comfortable had me waking up raring to go despite going to bed aching from the day walking

Everything was just a little better than we expected it to be.
A good selection of breakfast items gave a good start to each day. The host was very helpful in suggesting activities during our stay. The main town and lake was a relatively short walk away with a good sized supermarket just around the corner. We did not have a car although space was available for parking There was also a communal fridge and microwave with space for seating. This meant we could sit outside rather than stay just in our room.

Honestly, I can't complain. Just a recommendation: a small fridge would be great, at least in the common area.
Excellent location. Very helpful and kind staff. Breakfast is more than enough, wild range of varieties for this type of accommodation. Room was big enough, comfortable bed. Many toiletries, enough towels for 2 and half days.

No air conditioning and 90 degree heat made having the windows open necessary. With the windows open it was quite noisy with all passers by as well as mosquitoes coming in.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and informative. The location made walking into Bled and the lake easy and the options for dinner within walking was endless. Breakfast was great with many choices and plenty to eat. Also great on site parking.

Yawnya was so kind and helpful. She made sure we were comfortable and her breakfast was amazing. Such a nice and friendly stay. Our room was super clean, fresh, and new. We hope to stay here again

The apartment/2 bed suite was very sparse and not very homely - more like a hostel and smelled of cigarette smoke. Overall, this felt an expensive stay for rather modest accommodation
The location just a short walk from the town center suited us well. Free parking was very convenient and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Everywhere was very clean.

Only complaint would have been the temperature of the room. No air-conditioning is understandable but a small fan in the room would have helped. Location is quiet so not a problem to have the windows open for air.
Staff was amazing!! Friendly, informative and helpful. Room was small but efficient. Breakfast was a very nice selection. Location was a 10-15 minute walk to the lake and activities. Very nice to have free parking available for guests.

Breakfast was pretty basic.

The pension has a great location, close to the city and the lake. Staff was very helpful. We had a spacious apartment 2 bedrooms and a balcony with beautiful mountain view. Beds were comfortable. For breakfast we could choose from a great variety

a good cup of coffee for breakfast
Breakfast basic, but nice to be able to make ones own eggs, omelettes etc. Coffee and hot water from an urn so not hot! Location nice and quiet and short walk into Bled. Parking available and very useful. Staff were friendly and helpful. All very nice and clean too. It as perfect for what we needed, a visit to Bled and walk the Vintgar gorge.
