Maybe the curtain which covers the window in the bathroom could be a bit thicker/darker to give more confidence. I know that the window is blurred, but having a thin white curtain gave me a bit of unease.

The room was quite small, but well equipped and very cosy. The bed was comfy for me. They gave separate blankets for the double bed, that's ideal for me and my friend. The receptionist was very friendly. It is very near to the train station (around 12-15 mins walk on a path which leads to long stairs, there is another way without stairs but might be longer). We met a kind paramedic middle-aged man at the train station and he drove us to see the hotel, then directly to the cave.

The rooms are very close to the city center, 1 minute walk. The host and the cleaning ladies were very friendly, rooms were clean and tidy.

The rooms are not soundproof, everything can be heard from another rooms. We could asleep when our neighbors decided to.

Located close to Postojna cave and city (5 min by foot). Room was rather small but clean. Parking outside on the street or inside, near by app. Hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Reception was closed when we arrived and we had to figure out how to use the front bell to communicate with host and open the doors...

Quiet place in the center of Postojna, with a private parking for a car. Close to the center, shops, bars etc. You may ask hosts for advise where to eat or shop. You may get to Postojna cave on foot from there in half an hour.

We were immediately greeted by a lovely lady named Patricija who turned out to be a fellow member of the Scouting movement. She was very kind and generous and helped us to organise how to reach the Postojna cave and the castle. Patricija also gave us recommendations of where to eat in town and how to get around (one taxi is available but most people go on foot around the town). Aside from Patricija's wonderful hospitality, the room was very pretty and clean. It is quite central to the town and a very pleasant stroll to the cave. The wifi worked great so I could FaceTime my mum and show her how pretty the room was. I'd love to return here one day to learn more about Slovenia, its people, and its culture.

Shower floor drain did not work properly and the hanger for shower gun was broken. TV didn't first work and when asked help from the staff, they said it doesn't work for the whole hotel because of the tv operator. We also asked where the shuttle bus for the Postojna Caves and the castle start and what time, and he replied that they propably doesn't operate because its off season now. After 3 minutes of internet search, we had the full schedule for the shuttle bus and little bit clicking tv remote control, we had 2 channels. So, don't trust the staff, do it yourself.ö

Great shower but wall fixing didn't work properly so shower head kept dropping out.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. I was pleasantly surprised, it is better in real than in the photos. We booked a quadruple room and it had a well equipped kitchenette. You could easily cook a simple meal. It is centrally located within walking distance to the train station and the cave. Simon is a wonderful host. He sent shuttle information and offered to take us to the train station as it was raining when we needed to leave. I highly recommend this property.

The main reason I didn't give it a 10 was that there were some pretty major maintenance issues needed mostly with the electrical plugs not being fixed into the walls and at one point I did see a flash when I went to plus a phone charger in.

Great hotel with good value for money, easy parking in a good location, beds are pretty comfortable and it has airconditioning which was a godsend!!
