The location is superb, there's a terrific view of the surroundings and the seaside is also just a short drive away. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, the people working there are really nice and the rooms are, although basic, clean, tidy and well organised.

Unfortunately there was no warm water in the shower the last evening of our stay. We don't know what happened. Internet was not working in our room during the first day but that's really not a big deal. They get it repaired the next day.

We liked the hotel's style, the landscape was a little bit like Tuscany. Quiet place, lovely village, perfect to escape from the modern world and to charge the batteries. The breakfast was great and the young lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in an exceptional location. Beautiful surroundings near the town of PIRAN. The room was rather standard, but it was equipped with air conditioning, which was a big plus given the hot weather. The absolutely perfect and luxurious breakfast included in the accommodation price was a great end to our short stay.

Even though it is a very out of the way place, there was an event at the property and everyone was parked just outside our window, so it was noisy late at night as they left. Sunday morning church bells ring for a few minutes. The church is next to the parking area.

Spacious room/ apartment. Nice amenities. Very modern bathroom Good breakfast (extra cost). Nice staff. Awesome views. Two excellent restaurants within walking distance. Pool would be great in warm season. Bikes and helmets available for rent. Very relaxing place. Easy parking.

Decor was maybe not our taste, but it didn't really matter. We had a great time. There isn't much around, apart of two restaurants (one of them was not always open and a bit pricey), so you do need a car.

A nice and comfortable place for a family. We stayed for a few days and loved to come back and chill at the pool after a long day outside. Good and large breakfast. Staff is very nice, they even arranged extra service for us when we asked (clothes cleaning), even if they don't normally do it.

The hotel has vey good atmosphera. Jacuzzi in room , possibility to taste different alcohol drinks on the first floor of hotel , swimming pool which possible to use until 10 p.m. , good breakfast with possibility to drink local dry wine , picturesque landscapes outside the window: all these create very good mood in guests of hotel.

Given the price, we were really (really) surprised to see the (too) little room. I did know the bathroom was separate but overlooked the m2. Small things, like no side table at the bed or missing cups for mouth rinsing, did not improve the feeling.

Nice location, well managed, friendly staff and great swimming pool. Breakfast time is really enjoyable. Two good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The reception had strange opening times during the stay. The price of the room was also quite expensive considering room prices at hotels closer to the coast are around the same.

A very nice place in a quiet Area...Not far from the sea and Well known places like Piran or Izola. 15 min Drive from the sea and you are in a totally different world with Olive trees on beautiful Hills The building is Well kept and the rooms are very nice Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our Room was not "cosy" - Scratches here and there from bottom to wall and most of all not clean from my point of view - dead fly near the window, pile of dust around the bed feet, ventilation grid in bathroom full of dust. BTW no room cleaning during the stay (no issue if only a couple of days, .. Good for hunters - Mosquitos and centipeds (2) in the room !

Nice hotel (lobby, location,...) - quiet in a small village, and 20 min max from the different Slovenian coast villages. Nice view of the surrounding landscape and villages. Free parking Lat but not least Nice swimming pool - really appreciated after a hot summer day.

- The room was not as advertised, the room in the pictures was larger - evidenced by a different room layout. Our bathroom was also not accurate as it did not have a window, as advertised. - If there had been a window, it would have solved the problem of the rather unpleasant sewage-like smell in the bathroom, present upon check-in. - The room was not made after the first night, despite us leaving the hotel around noon for the entire day. Thus, we feel the service charge was not justified. - The Wi-Fi provided by the hotel is very poor, we had to go to cafes in nearby towns for faster / proper internet and cellular data. - The front desk service was poor, unprofessional, and disrespectful - suggesting a lack of hospitality training / education. We expect a minimum level of service that extends professional support to guests in any issue shared with the front desk, especially when the hotel has not delivered on its service obligation but is charging for it anyway.

- The location provides a relaxing escape from the busy towns and beaches with a nice view. - The facilities were as advertised, e.g. parking, air conditioning, etc. - The breakfast was decent with a coffee machine, cold cuts, pastries, and warm food e.g. scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage.

Zen place. Good breakfast, beautiful terrace with outdoor pool and a nice view. I recommend Hiša Torkla for a romantic dinner (5 minute walking distance). We will definitely come back.

Nothing. Although rooms were small there was larger rooms/apartments available. But as we were only stay two nights we were happy with our rooms. People staying for a week or longer may find hotel remote if you did not have a car. But in no way is this a criticism of the property. we thought the place was great

Booked whilst still in Zell um See the night before our arrival. Hotel exceeded our ex[pectation as it was in the hills around Izola, in renovated three buildings with swimming pool. Breakfast room was delightful and a well stocked breakfast was provided each morning. Because this was an old building the rooms were small doubles and bathroom was down the hall way, but for our use only. As for location, resort was 15mins drive from Izola and a great drive.
