We booked the biggest room with views of Lomnicky stit. Comfortable, warm with all we needed. Big advantage is the private bathroom and great hot shower.. The room has gorgeous views and fantastic location. Food was tasty with good portions. We really enjoyed the sauna with a views of the mountains. We had a fantastic time and will stay again. Minor points that can be easily fixed: The room decor is very nice and welcoming..why spoiling it with a bathroom soap dispenser? Would welcome slightly broader breakfast selection, but this seems to be better during busy season. English main menu would be great. For sauna would be good to supply at least empty glass so one can have a drink of water.

I didn't realize it was a shared bathroom with the room next to me, but overall not a problem. May be tough for those who aren't in the good physical shape. I had to walk down early to get my train and had to carry my luggage quite a ways.

Food was fantastic! My favorite soup of the whole trip! Location was so beautiful. I watched the sunrise from my bedroom which was super lovely. Incredible access to hiking (you're literally on a trail)

Shared bathroom concept works well but can be tricky sometimes to use. I prefer a firm mattress.

A great place to start hiking tours in the Tatra mountains. The chata is comfortable and cosy. We booked one of the small rooms, but had enough space to store things. Good breakfast and nice choices for a Slovak dinner in a rustic atmosphere. And you can book the Sauna with a view to the forest and mountains :)

One evening there was a problem with water suppply (no water) for technical reason, However the staff managed to repair it within few hours, thanks to them. For the breakfast it would be good to have a coffee machine (and not only a thermos jug)

The location is perfect but we knew that. The family room is a small apartment including a fridge (but no kitchen), which has been recently renovated. We appreciated to relax in the apartment after our daily excursions. The wifi connection was good. The staff was really helpful and the price of the restaurant are not overpriced compared to the prices downhill which was also a good surprise.

everything was perfect

This was my fifth time in Bilikova Chata. I falled in love already the very first time. The room 21 was excellent with amazing view. In the restaurant the meals were very tasty. We ate the best deer goulash with knedli here. The staff was always really helpful and kind.

The location is really great, it's surrounded by mostly "green" and "blue" trails which is quite nice if you are planning an easy hike and the waterfalls nearby are stunning, just in 15-20min from the hotel. Really good place for a quick retreat. The room was super clean and cozy, but still a bit pricey. In the high season, the trails most likely will be overcrowded.

Bilikova chata was the ideal location for starting hikes in a variety of directions, centrally located and still very quiet. Room was tidy and thoughtfully laid out for one person, and very clean. The sauna was an extra treat, with a window facing a jaw dropping view of the mountains. Cozy bar, homemade bread and well-rounded breakfast offerings made it easy to call this home for two nights. Lovely staff completed the experience.

The location is absolutely breathtaking! As is the architectural feat of the chata itself, the decor and atmosphere matched perfectly where we were. The rooms were pretty and quaint, clean and warm, the best we could expect in late winter!
