A bit too hot in the summer (no AC), train runs very close to the rooms, so hard to sleep with open windows in the summer.

Very good location - the city is just over the bridge. Good and clean room and bath. Cars can be parked very safe (own parking place) and even protected from sun and rain. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

No AC or fridge in the room, fortunately it was not the heatwave yet. Otherwise it could get pretty hot in there. There was no real butter available for breakfast, only margarine, but a friendly staff member brought some when asked. Not sure why this is not a standard. Shower valve could use a bit of maintenance, on the other hand the shower is very big and comfortable. Excellent stay despite these minor things!

I must say I was more than pleased with my stay in Pension Royal. The staff is really nice and helpful, rooms are spacious and very clean. Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fresh with everything a continental breakfast should have.

Our room window faced the train tracks so we could hear the train passing by (it was a bit disturbing at night). The water in the bathroom had specific taste and smell.

The room was comfy and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We had dinner at the pension's restaurant, the food was very delicious and the portions were large.

The staff, facilities, and location are all very great! The only other thing I would say is that the mattress was stiff and not as comfortable as I am used to. Despite this, we slept just fine!

The staff was so very nice and accommodating to us! Next time I am in Trencin I will for sure use this hotel. The parking was in a gated area that felt very safe and was very accessible. I also loved the breakfast that they provided! Very tasty. The air conditioning worked VERY well, which I was very appreciative of.

The surrounding is poor, without any kind of services. But you are in 10 minutes in the city center, so not a big problem. What is the problem is the noise that cleaning ladies will make every morning at 7:30. They clean the corridors, and yelling all the time. Disturbing anyone who tries to sleep. They don't want to close any doors slowly, but always with extreme noise, and yes they open a lot of doors. Simply, just because of that very irritating and rude behavior of the cleaning ladies, the score is not 10. They washed the parking with a hose, and they putted a lot of mud from the ground all over the parked cars! Like I said, this not a hotel, and things like above mentioned, can be easily improved.

Be aware that this is not a hotel, and you should not expect a hotel feeling. It is a pension and deserves (almost) score 10. It is a pension above the restaurant, with a lot of rooms. Plusses are the following: quiet neighborhood, easy accessible from the main road, free, comfortable, secured, and covered parking, clean rooms, high quality of breakfast, good WiFi. The receptionist and the staff in the restaurant is very polite. Please note there is no fridge in the room, no kettle or coffee machine. The restaurant is open until 22h as well as the parking. If you want to go to the city center, you can use very nice walking path across the old bridge but the same route during the night is a little bit spooky. It takes not more than 10 minutes to reach the city center.
