Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The AC worked automatically in one of the rooms and we couldn't stop it from the remote until the hotel worker had to turn off the power button from the control panel and that caused the lighting to turn off from this room. Secondly, Construction entrance is hard to find and there is no lobby
It was a two bedroom suite on the third floor. Wad Clean, comfortable and there was no big noise from the street

Maybe the cleaning will be better. But I realize that if you ask for it they will do it.
We are two families (4 adults and 4 kids). Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location. Near the property there is a top all day restaurant with fantastic breakfast.

Furniture was a bit dirty. Sofa bed was with suspicious stains. There were hairs on the newly made up bed.

Very attentive staff... They event promptly interact through any available communication channels... The staff is very helpful. The location is in between sultanahmet and taksim square. The room itself is beautiful. Complete - it's even have own kitchen with full tipical kitchen utilities....

elevator was small but that's understandable, overall the house was so warm to the point where we had to keep our windows open.
lovely spot, 7 mins walk distance from Galata tower, has parking 1 street away and has the best breakfast spot in the neighborhood called Lavender.

bathroom was very small and as it was a loft room the roof was low and not very comfortable to move around but overall good value for money. appliances and fittings were not premium quality so they cut corners.
location.. staff was very helpful. I had the suite with the balcony. Maria was especially helpful and fixed a tv issue straight away

The 2 bedroom apartment concept was actually when you go to the second bedroom, you have to passed through the first bedroom, so there are no privacy for the first bedroom as it acts as a bedroom and also a sharing space. we thought we would have a living room shared by the occupants of the apartment but there is no living room or area.
It was near to itiklal streets so you have a variety of food and drinks and even shopping area in walking distance. It was happening during night time as well. The room is as per picture, clean, organized and there is a lift as well for tourist who are not able to use the staircase. The staff is very helpful in terms of providing service for food delivery, PCR test, and also transportation to attraction places.

The hotel does not have a reception, it looks more like a residential building. If you book this apartment, do not take breakfast. The hotel does not have a restaurant but you get breakfast in the room. it is very scarce and you only get it after 9am, and for that money you can eat nicely at the great restaurants nearby.
The hotel is in a great location, close to interesting neighborhoods, Galata Tower and Istikal Street. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice.

The hygiene Is not on the expected level.This Is the first time that hotel or the apartment on Booking Is not enough clean and get ready when the guests come. A lot of broken things,such as mirrors on the closets and on the wall and the bath equipment. Walls are dirty,and the kitchen is unusefull because of the lost of hygiene. It has to be fixed,specialiy in the time of pandemic,because it is not safe and cosy.
The location is exellent,great Libanon restaurant is in front of the apartment,Galata tower and Galata brige are on the walking distance. It looks like everything is near and in the neighbourhood. One of the boys that are working at the place is very polite,has good knowledge of English and ready to help.

There are some things missing like kitchen towel for the kitchenette,but guys are solving everything immediately!
The location js amazing: secluded but very closed at the same time to Galata. The area is nice for walking/coffee/vintage/etc. there are some shops and local cafes in front of the hotel; 3 minutes of walk and you are on a tram like,from which you can easily reach to Sultanahmet. Guys at the reception are eager to help 24/7! They helped me to fix the broken will on my luggage and were extremely nice all the time!
