Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaWe had a room in the upper corner of the building, maybe that's why the wifi mostly didn't work. Also, hot water took ages to arrive, so most our showers were rather cold. The breakfast, off season at least, is a prepared plate. We stated that we were vegetarian and would rather have more cheese instead of ham, but he bluntly said no and turned away. Room service brings new towels but doesn't actually seem to clean anything. Also, despite being located in a quiet side street, you can clearly hear the music from nearby pubs and orher guests in adjacent rooms at night. Still okay value for money overall though.
Nice garden and central location.

NetherlandsNinova is an authenthic and charming hotel with a very nice atmosphere. Very quiet as well, although it is situated right in the hart of the old town. We enjoyed the breakfast in the garden which is full of flowers and orange trees. The staff is very friendly. We booked one night and returned for two more nights at the end of our holidays. The value for money is excellent. Other, more expensive hotels cannot compete with Ninova!

United Kingdomjust by its nature (tiles and an old building around a courtyard) it can be noisy inside and flights do tend to arrive late in turkey it seems). single rooms are very small (I’ve stayed twice and both small) so sadly no chair fits in but there are lots of places around the common areas or sit/lounge if you need
the rooms are fairly basic but comfortable with everything provided. staff very helpful (& their English so much better than my Turkish). Turkish breakfast good and nice to have it in the garden at this time of year ( presumably it is in the breakfast room when it gets cooler). not too keen on the steps between breakfast room and tables but negotiable with care. location is great if you’re a public transport fan amd easy walking around the old town

NetherlandsThe single room was small wich is OK, but it could use somewhere to put your suitcase. The breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00, but there was no bread or coffee until 8:30. Keep that in mind if you travel in the morning!
The location of this hotel is perfect: in Kaleici, but not in the noisy part. It has a loverly garden.

CanadaThe hotel is like a family house equipped with the required household materials. Such a nice hotel serving few customers only. Very quite inside the hotel. You may hear voices from outsid but not that disturbing. The whole neighbourhood looks like old and super attractive. I am extremely lucky to visit such a place right at this time

UzbekistanMay be a little smell from bathroom, but we found the solution easily, we just bought a candle and kept it on for sometime during the day and all issue with the smell disappeared.
The hotel in fact looks much better than in booking.com It was a cozy feeling, I felt I am at my own home. Atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff (always ready to help and advise), the safety (we could leave kids alone in the hotel and all important documents and money with no issue), the design of the hotel (I felt I am guess in someone's old house) the beautiful yard and amazing location, which allows to reach sea in 5 minutes, beautiful streets (each corner like a masterpiece), access to restaurants, Bazar and shopping center. The breakfast was sufficient for our family and my kids loved it.

PolandIn such hot weather, a swimming pool would be very useful ;) Then we would definitely like to come back. In addition, breakfast served in a room without air conditioning (with such high temperatures) also raised concerns about the quality of the products.
The location, the heart of the Old Town, is definitely an advantage. The room was as described and clean, comfortable beds & a decent breakfast. Despite the location it was pleasantly quiet in the room, there is no problem with resting :) Very nice and helpful staff.

Czech RepublicAs other guests have said, the breakfast could definitely be improved… that’s because we stayed in other hotels that had amazing buffets with many choices, so this one feels simple. There’s tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, yogurt, olives, bread, corn flakes, jams and chocolate spread, watermelon… and then tea, coffee, and Cappy orange juice. I would suggest to have fresh orange juice as well as more fruit options and some cookies or cakes. I also wish they would leave tea, coffee and water for the guests all day.
They’re located in the best party of Antalya, old town… but in the quiet part of it so it’s very peaceful. The gardens are divine and a pleasure to spend time in, the building is beautifully furnished, with a few cozy sitting areas where I loved sitting and sipping coffee. We booked the deluxe room and it was really worth it, it has exposed stone walls and is very cozy. Their internet works great. There’s a tiny parking lot for about 4-5 cars inside, it’s enclosed in the property. The staff was very kind and helpful, we arrived at 3:00 in the morning because of flight delays and there’s always someone at the reception 24/7. We were accidentally given the wrong room when we arrived and they kindly changed it the next day. The hotel is very clean. AC works well.

AustriaBreakfast could be better. The first floor sitting area is closed by glass enclosure, which makes the sitting area warm and suffocating.
Breakfast was pretty basic. Addition of some hot food would be great. A coffee machine and a water dispenser in the lobby would be an added attraction. Location is good but sometimes taxi refuse to go there because of narrow lanes.
