Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIf paying with credit card, the limit is 600 Turkish Lira per transaction - which does not even cover cost for a night in the cheapeast room. My total was 1,965TL which I had to split into four payments. They agreed to let me pay over a two day period so the cc company would not shut-off my card from four back-to-back transactions. It took excessively long for water in the shower to heat up - which was wasteful, and the internet was very weak which might be a problem for guests who don't have a Turkish sim card with data.
By far the least expensive hotel in Gaziantep! However, Booking.com reviews are not that great and I almost passed until reading reviews on other websites. Was it perfect? No, it's old and outdated but provides a safe, comfortable room to shower and sleep. I asked for a quiet room and was placed in #305 in back. The facility was mostly empty the first couple of days, and the silence was deafening, but filled up for New Year's Eve with noise from guests or celebrations beyond still not a problem. Staff is helpful, location is within easy walking distance of anything I cared to see in the city. It's also an easy walk from the airport shuttle stop when coming into town, and a 20-minute walk to the lot for when it's time to return to the airport.

Excellent location in a quiet street very close to places to eat, and a short walk to the castle and old town area. Our hotel room was very basic but had everything we needed and private bathroom. Good value for the price.

South AfricaThe hotel is a little old. The lift is one to use with caution. Unless you open the door immediately on arrival at your floor, you may be transported to another floor by someone else's call button. The beds were a great disappointment for a weary traveller. They are light-weight. If you sit at the bottom end, they tip up. Our double bed was narrowish and had one sagging side. It was hard to stay ON the bed on that side. Toilet paper, as ever, in Turkiye, was in short supply. We got half a roll for 3 people for 2 nights. Of course this was easily rectified, but one does wonder at the logic. Also, we were in a triple room, yet started out with only 2 towels. I was surprised by how difficult communication was here with some staff, even with a translation app. This was different to anywhere else during our month-long trip in Turkiye. We could not get any help with parking. In fact there was a huge misunderstanding. Parking, by the way , is a problem. The hotel street is one-way, so once you've passed the hotel, if you're not lucky enough to find parking in the street (very few spaces), it's a long journey to come back round to oass the hotel again. The only good opportunity is a small empty lot past the hotel and on your left. Several locals park here too, so that the lot is fairly empty early in the morning. As we left around 9.00, we were able to get out without difficulty. Late night it's jam-packed, however. We did see an otopark across the busy street nearby, but that would be a bit of a journey with suitcases. You'd have to drop the cases at the hotel and then go and park. In short, some research regarding parking is necessary before arrival, I'd say. The room's window is darkened by a very light fabric blind, set some distance from the wall. If you want to be asleep some time after sunrise, remember to put on your eye mask.
The location is good. Walking ditance from the archaeological museum, and, if you're fit, from the Zeugma mosaics museum. Also within ditance is the best baklava shop in Gaziantep, İmam Çağdaş, and many others. There's also the beautiful Pisirici Kasteli cistern, with little shops on the way. Good, affordable food can be found by continuing down the hotel's one way street to to T-junction. Turn left and walk till you see a staircase on your right. If you are looking for beer, there is a tiny shop on the right before you get to the staicase. Down this staircase and to your right are several little restaurants. The hotel no longer offers breakfast, but there are snacks and tea and coffee available in the lobby. There are seating areas in two rooms off the lobby. We missed a cold water fountain to fill our water bottles. This was available everywhere else on our month-long journey.

RussiaBear in mind at this price I was just looking for a place to sleep and relax - and it was great for that. If you're looking for something neater or spend time as a company - you better look elsewhere, but also, the price tag will grow proportionally.
Location is quite convenient, at least it was for me, to explore the city's neighborhoods as well as the museums and such. Very reasonably priced private room, a bit old stuff, but comfortable and nothing to complain about. Clean bathroom, hot water lasted about 3min - good enough.
