Not all lights in room worked, room was dark and actually, Basmane if I am not mistaken with location name, the worst location in Izmir. Like it is not Hotel fault, just location is very dangerous I think. All night someone fight, scream, etc. like location- I dont recommend at all, all hotels in this location, due to this location bring bad impression about Izmir itself

There were no big lights in my room, only the two lamps on the bedside tables and the one in the bathroom. I could not open the curtain of the window for the natural light cause less than one meter away there was the window of another room and they could see into my room. Overall, all the hotel has these small lights and everything seems so dark in there. I stayed for 4 days and they didn't change the towels. The hairdryer is very cheap, it stops working after 1 minutes cause it becomes too hot, so it's pretty uncomfortable if you have long hair.

The location was good, just in front of the train station and close to bus 302 which takes you to the bus station in 30 minutes. The breakfast was good and there was a kettle/water/the in the room.

There was no toilet paper, there were 3 bath towels for 4 people and only 2 hand towels. The sink was leaking. The view from the window was to the back yard fill with rubbish. Room was very dark, the lighting was very bad. Breakfast was not delicious.

Perfect location, 5 min walk to the Agora and 10 mins to the Clocktower.

Breakfast was terrible; cold eggs, stale bread, no space to sit. I got the wrong room, they gave me two 1 person beds while I clearly paid for 1 big bed I couldn’t open the windows properly

I left my notification that I will arrive by 1pm to hotel however when I did my check-in at 4.30pm the room wasn’t stil ready till 5pm. When I entered the room the floor everywhere was completely wet. Besides that the most disappointing thing for me was a very strong smell of toxic chlorine filling the room. Moreover should be mentioned that bath towels seemed used for ages. Bath towels were overused, with holes and stains, smelling strange. When it came to take a shower the water was cold. Even though the problem was risolves when reception guy told me that I have to open water everywhere I spent like 30 mins in cold shower room wasting cold water and hoping it will turn to be warm soon. Moreover it was very very noisy . Finally, the breakfast was very very poor. No choice at all.

After I got my surgery I asked property to provide me ice and they told me they didn’t have it. I had to buy by myself ice and asked them to keep it in their freezer because the one in my room was not working. Property should offer more services. It is important to have ICE available. Turkey is a country known for cosmetic surgery and having ICE available should be basic in every hotel regardless you get surgery or not. Secondly, the area is so noisy, there are construction sites nearby, it was really difficult for me to rest properly. Door were never closing correctly, I always had to double check. Plus I would improve the cleaning, which is really basic cleaning, not deep, and there was a weird smell in the room when I entered (this shouldn’t happen). Lastly, Wi-Fi kept disconnecting every time, more than once a day.

I am a woman and I traveled alone to Izmir for a surgery. The only positive thing about this hotel is the very friendly and welcoming staff, especially Mr. Emrah Erhen, really professional and always ready to help me during my difficult days post op. Thanks especially to him and few others I could feel more comfortable.

We requested to change our room as the first one seemed nice, but had a terrible smell, the fridge was leaking water and the floor was wet. Same in the bathroom. The shower was leaking water and the floor was wet. The cleaning lady came in immediately and she got very angry, saying to her colleagues that I'm whining for nothing, etc. The second room that we got was awful, but I didn't want to make a fuss again after I saw the behavior of the cleaning lady. The room wasn't smelling, luckily, but the floor was very dirty. Full of hair and dust. The next day, the other cleaning lady did a good job cleaning the room. Thank you! She cleaned our room for 2 days. You could see it that it was clean after!

Emrah, the guy at the kitchen buffet was such a joyful boy! He was taking care of everything, very polite and kind. Can't say the same for the other gentleman. I witnessed him collecting the cereal flakes from the tray where those had fallen and putting it back in the container. I didn't enjoy the breakfast at all, unfortunately! The gentleman at the reception was kind and polite. Very helpful as well. He took good care of our car and he changed our room as soon as we requested a new one.

Given the price (off season), we got what we expected. Basic but reasonable. The location is fine during the day but we were told to be more careful at night. To be fair this is true of many places and we had no issues.Amenities are what you’d expect- a kettle but no coffee sachets and only 2 teabags and when we asked for some at reception no black tea available. A couple of tiny bottles of shower gel but nothing else so you need to bring toiletries even if there for a couple of nights. A small window so limited light.

For the price the hotel is fine. We were only there for a couple of days and needed something at a reasonable price which was located centrally. This fit the bill. Rooms were relatively basic but clean. Bed was small but comfy. There was a TV and (unstocked) fridge plus hairdryer. The bathroom was very small but had all the basics. Location was good- in the centre of the city next to the big park with lots of shops etc. nearby. As it was winter, temperature was good. Given the central position it was also surprisingly quiet. Staff were pleasant enough if asked something and there was a selection of Turkish foods at breakfast (bread, cheese, eggs, tomatoes and so on). Fine for a base.

The breakfast very basic and stale, the very tiny bathroom that consisted of a shower, toilet and sink all in a 2 metre square wet room, water got all over the dry towels and any toiletries.

Parking, the main door was noisy and above all, the washroom glass door was unbalanced and makes huge noise while opening and closing. Mini bar fridge was not working.
