The room was really small, it was hard to move between beds. At first night cleaning personnel entered the room (at 7 in the morning!), didn’t even knocked. And no, I had no sign “please make up my room”. I was really threatened, but I can understand that was just a mistake.

Location is really nice, I also liked breakfast

I had to change rooms during my stay as the one I initially booked was overbooked. The room had a view on a small internal court yard with people passing in front of the window.

Great location and nice terrace for the breakfast and afternoon tea. Room was clean and comfortable. It was helpful to be able to leave the bags before and after check in/out.

The staff was warm and friendly. A warm welcome at 2 a.m. The room for three people was small, but pleasant to stay. Every day they cleaned the room and put clean towels. The breakfast was just fine, a modest offer. Coffee and tea every evening from 17:00 to 19:00. In general, the offer is in line with the price we paid.

The location is excellent, everything is close. The room was very clean, we got an extra blanket when we asked, the staff is ready to help. But the soul of this hotel is the receptionist Ersin. A very nice, caring and witty young man, he organized the transfer from and to the airport, as well as several very nice trips. I can say that without him the visit to Istanbul would not have been so magnificent. Thank you Ersin <3

Perfect place to stay in the heart of Istanbul!

It didn’t have a lift, I think we missed that info when we booked.. broken phone, we tried to request for late check out as we stayed only for a night and so exhausted the next day after Cappadocia travel.. and maybe due to language barrier, the cleaning lady was scowling at us and loomed over the door to hurry our packing, so stressful!

In the heart of Istanbul—many sites are within walking distance or close to train. Room was very clean and according to description. Loved the open terrace breakfast spot, beautiful space with partial views of Zeynep and Hagia Sofia mosques. No lift and the old person at the front desk when we checked in close to midnight was such a darling for carrying are suitcases! He was so insistent (we thought he’s going to break his back!), we literally have to tug-o-war the luggages from his grip!

Perfect location place - all in few min walk around. Clean, beautiful hotel, terrace was amazing as well! I was traveling to Istanbul with my child and mom for my birthday trip and hotel upgraded my triple room for suite without extra money. It was such a nice surprise and made our holidays even more special and comfortable. Guys in reception was so supportive and sweet- always welcomed us with smile, helped us to plan almost each day in Istanbul by giving some advices and also helped to arrange entertainment events - boat trip and dervish dance show. My mom is in the age and always was very supportive toward her by advising the best walking routes around the old town. :)

The room was a little bit narrow; it is really for sleeping and not for staying there.

The Hotel has an excellent location, five minute from the Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque; very close to a buzzy center but at the same time the hotel was a quite place in a small side street. International and turkisch disches at breakfast, bureks, chees of different sorts, omlet, really sweet fruites and fresh vegetables. The room was very clean, the bed apprpriate.

Good breakfast selection in a lovely location, with friendly staff around. Also was helped immediately when I mentioned that I'd prefer not to be in a room next to the road and other noise.

    What didn't I like :)

What was there not to like about this hotel. Location is phenomenal, so close to the main centre, historical and major cultural sites. Your view as you walk in the Hagia Sophia! The hotel is also far enough away and tucked in off the back street for privacy and its super quiet. The interior is super cute, clean and lovely and this theme follows throughout the entire hotel. The staff are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and so easy going that you are not feeling constantly bothered and you are given the right amount of space and chit chat. Genuine too and not put on customer service which I love :) Last but not least is the rooftop terrace where you have breakfast every morning. Just wowwww!!! So beautiful, peaceful with all the cute plants and again, the view is stunning. The food is super delicious and what I look forward to in the mornings and they also host an afternoon tea with coffee, tea and cookie's. I enjoyed my stay here so much I stayed a few times during my visit and cancelled another well known hotel to continue my stay here. I felt super comfortable and kinda homely as I got to know everyone. The price was super reasonable, I can't say what the charges would be during the peak summer period as I stayed in low season...although the hotel was popular regardless. I had a super time and would recommend this place to anyone coming to Istanbul. Love love love this hotel!

Tiny rooms and kind the ones on the first floor next to the reception are noisy - you can hear the staff ordering and daily stuff. No available parking - there are 2 parkings next to the hotel, but are paid additionally for 10-20euro per day depending on Ur bargain skills and car, and they are open and Ur giving the car key which is sketchy.

Location is absolutely perfect for tourist type of holiday. Reception staff is very friendly

I don't think there was a lift , if you have mobility problems, make sure you ask for street level room

Being a solo women traveller, l felt very safe here. The staff were attentive but not in your face, which made me feel really welcomed but gave me space to explore. ZSH is in walking distance to sooo many attractions, l was able to pop back to the hotel during the day and resume exploring around this beautiful city easily. I could have done 1 more night in Istanbul. I didn't do any tours but feel now l should have done 1 boat tour which was offered at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel as it captures the Turkish design. The lovely staff are dressed locally and very warm and welcoming. The location is perfect ( just of the main road but nice and quiet) so many restaurants, shops very very close.
