Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americawell, the breakfast has a bit to be desired but it will fill you. The girls that work there are pretty much as good as they can be based on the inability to speak any real english at all. They are thorough and courteous. They do a very good job of cleaning your room and having it prepared for you. Coffee could be included as well. they have tea in the room to make yourself which is great if you drink tea. Another big thing is yes, there is a TV with several channels all are in Ukrainian or Russian, of course, so unless you understand these two languages the TV serves absolutely no purpose to any quest. TV is just another fixture in the room. They should provide Netflix and Youtube access on the TV. Then you can find something to watch in any language you prefer! Having three flights of stairs with no elevator is a real pain. If you smoke you must go down three flights and stand outside then back up three flights to the room.
The property is neat and well kept. There is no place anywhere for you to sit and have a cigarette really if you smoke. The room is kept very clean by the staff. If you communicate with them using whatsapp or something they are very prompt in responding to you for then they can use the translator to understand you. The staff are friendly as limited as it must be with the language barrier. Overall it is a very nice facility and the staff is very pleasant! ]

Czech RepublicJust a few minor things. First of all, you'll have to carry a key fob with you otherwise you won't be able to get in. And you are only issued one key fob so if there is two of you you will have to stick together. The other thing was the location - we wanted to be within a walking distance of the railway station; otherwise you might want to consider a different hotel in the more touristy and upscale part of the city.
The room was very clean and spacious. The room service staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a pretty good restaurant attached to the hotel.

PolandIt's not the hotel building. The rooms are on the 4th floor in the living building without elevator. The internet doesn't work-the connection was very slow. The breakfast was typical for Ukraine, but rather poor for the European standards (eggs or omlet served in the room,no coffee). It's not the city center and the streets are empty in the evening. There is no shops, cofe places next by.
The place is not far away from the railway station. The room is big, warm and comfortable.

ChinaThey gave me a tax price, higher from what they wrote on booking... I'm a foreigner, how do I know if that's the real price or if they increase it just because I can't speak the language...
The room is great. Booking.Com refunded me the price difference.
