We also didn't know if the excellent reviews meant the place was right for us or not. It was absolutely superb and we already know that we have to go back. Not just the friendliness of the owners or the breakfast (the best I've had anywhere and not rushed at all) or the room and the history of the house but just the 'feel' and the efforts the hosts made to make you feel on holiday. That so many people are repeat visitors tell you everything you need to know. Everything - down to the towels and the soap - was of exceptional quality. The night time Baileys and chocolate was such luxury. I so wish we could have stayed longer.”
