Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe setup was a challenge. The “kitchen” is narrow and the main through point between the sleeping spaces. There was also only one or two chairs so if those were taken, you had to sit on the beds if you wanted to relax. Not generally a problem, but after hiking at GCNP all day, I didn’t want to sit where I would be sleeping.
We liked the proximity to Grand Canyon National Park. It was easy to find and access, we cooked a small dinner there which was made easy by what was available for cooking.

United States of AmericaIt was a really tiny house in the middle of nowhere! The host provided a google location for it as it doesn't have a real address. Remember to bring all food and water with you as there is no any store around.
Location! The house is located just a half an hour from Grand Canyon visitor center. So if you plan to spend most of time in canyons then its a great place to stay, where you can have comfortable beds, hot water and a small kitchen.

Czech RepublicTwo things could be better - road that goes to the house is very rocky and unpaved which didn't feel very safe and you have to be careful when driving, especially in the night. The other one is that if you are group of four and will get this specific apartment (it's possible that the layout is different in other ones), rooms are not separated, meaning there are two sleeping areas with king size beds on each side of apartment and connected by kitchen and bathrooms in between, no doors. If you will be ok with this, then it's perfect for your stay.
This was very nice surprise. We though it would be cool to have sleepover in trailer park and we really loved it! We were only two but got a studio where four people would fit very easily, there were also two bathrooms. Everything was nice and clean, it was warm even though weather outside was quite windy. It is super close to Grand Canyone, around 20mins by car and for very good price!

GermanyNothing to moan about
After all the negative reviews - "nothing but a trailer", "impossible to find", "were given wrong directions how to get there", "wrong adress" - I was prepared for a difficult journey and not expecting much of the home itself. Totally to the contrary: we were instructed how to get there several times, exact location, precise directions, keycode to open the door was sent without having to ask for it = smooth drive to get there, entry was easy, everything was fine. And yes, the passage through the kitchen is narrow - but guys, we are talking about a trailer home not about a luxury villa, ok? And the kitchen itself is fantastically equipped with just about everything you could desire for cooking, baking or frying, the cupboards are very well organized and labelled. The home is really cozy, and yes, there are seating facilities and tables.

United States of AmericaLong way down dirt road. Booked about hour before we arrived. The owners never sent instructions or code to get into trailer until I called.
Beds were comfortable. Had all things we would have needed if we chose to cook.

Czech RepublicThe description of the accommodation stated 2 bedrooms, this is not true. It is a mobilehome where the twin beds are in one space on opposite sides of the mobilehome. There is one small table with 1 chair in the mobilehome which is totally inadequate for 4 people. Eating here is absolutely impossible. We chose our accommodation according to the description and photos (2 bedrooms), the photos deliberately distort reality. For these reasons we ask for financial compensation.

Location is very good to visit Grand Canyon National Park. Good separation of 2+2 beds (kitchen corner in between). It created more privacy. Kitchen corner was well equipped to prepare breakfast or dinner.

The location to the Grand Canyon is perfect. This was very easy to get to. The room was very nice. It was also very clean. I expected one bathroom, but there was 2 which was so convenient for us. We will definitely stay here on our next trip out.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that was missing was dishwashing scrubber. If that would have been provided or at least given us a list of things we had there, we didnt have to run t0 store to get them. But that is a minor thing anyone can miss.
The communication, location and cleanliness was perfect. Great service overall. No place to complain. Price and values match!!
