To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Loved the incredible views, that deep garden bathtub and the fire pit near the rooftop pool! You get more here for your money than a hotel…your own condo/apartment! We enjoyed a few games of pool on the recreation floor which offered lots of other games, comfortable seating, big screen tvs. A convenient location, we were close to shopping, dining options and the Rooftop Cinema. The balcony with a table for two was lovely. Opted out of the traditional hotel stay and this was perfect, great value. I even did laundry before we left! Lol. The condo literally has everything you need…towels, silverware and cutlery, coffee pot, washer and dryer, extra blankets and more! We stayed from Dec 29 to Jan 2 for the New Year and didn’t want to leave.

United States of AmericaThe 2nd bathroom had multiple hairs in the sink and tub/shower There was caked up soap on the side of the tub I had the front desk get in contact with the owner There was no apology I was told that it was from someone vacuuming Some pieces of hair was wedged partially behind the drain cover I was on vacation and didn’t want drama so I ended up cleaning it myself Seemed to be a dirt film over the shower tub and it’s water fixtures as well The master bathroom didn’t have this issue FYI The app won’t accept videos only pictures Unfortunately video is what I have to give the full scope
I liked the location and the views of the city Everyone on the staff was attentive and friendly The property was quiet secure and updated
