We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaWe were in a suite on the lower level so there was some noise above us, especially when they were cleaning rooms. Next time we will book a room on an upper floor. Other than that, nothing bad to say about this hotel.
The hotel is exceptional. The staff were super nice. Everytime we came in or out they greeted us. Our room was very modern and very clean. We will definitely stay there again. It is very convenient to restaurants and shops in Green Point.

New ZealandSingle lift. Downstairs rooms feel a bit like a rabbit warren. Upstairs does get impacted by outdoor climate a bit more but nice and light.
Good size rooms. Bedding that matches a temperature controlled environment. Comfortable beds. Kitchen facilities. Good wifi. Quiet but convenient location for ferry etc. Using subway to get around does usually require a line change. Staff responded promptly to an ant outbreak in the lower room.

Yes, I agree with other reviews that you can may hear some sound from the restaurant downstairs, but I would say that is not louder than any other accommodation in NYC (and I experienced some of them), so I would not refer it at all as "noisy"!!! And the hotel has a zero tolerance policy for loud parties which I really appreciated. So no negative points from my side!
The location is great: perfectly located to reach manhattan by Ferry and Metro! The facility in the room are really good: we used the amazing kitchen and it was all new and working perfectly! The design of the hotel is wonderful! Newly renovated with a modern taste! What else? It really exceeded my expectations.

It really is tucked in though and some of the rooms are lower level but they have done a great job of lighting these rooms so you don't feel like you are in a bsaement

United States of AmericaThe hallways could be a bit noisy, but we put the air on fan mode and that helped to muffle the sound.
The Franklin Guest house was an incredible place to stay for our friend’s Greenpoint wedding. We had friends that stayed at a Marriott nearby and our room was the same price with twice the amount of space. We loved that it came with a kitchen and a cute little balcony, and there was a Citi bike dock right outside which made exploring so easy. We loved it and didn’t want to leave!
