Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe size of the metal tables in the restaurant look cool but are not functional even for trim guests.
Classy, elegant yet funky. Very nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. We also enjoyed our lovely dinner downstairs in their restaurant. Bonus, you can see some great artwork too. Staff need lots of kudos for their attention to detail!

United States of AmericaWe booked a 2 queen room which wasn't available so we were moved to a corner suite and we received one night free. We appreciated the accomodations made but would have preferred the room type we originally booked.
Hotel and location were great. Parking lot by hotel could use some security.

United States of AmericaDidn't love that the cleaning of my room was unpredictable: sometimes they would show up at 8am, sometimes I'd leave for the morning and still come back to an uncleaned room. By Thursday, the place was filled with drunk people, so be prepared for that experience (but in the room, i couldn't hear anything)
Nice facility. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great, location was really convenient for me as I was in KC for a conference. I appreciated the quality bath products, the comfortable couch in the room). Staff was sweet too

We missed breakfast or it was all gone by the time we got there. That was my only complaint. Seemed to end early?

United States of AmericaThe bartending staff member who completed our drink or at Savoy was disappointing. They were pretentious and dishonest (e.g., didn’t even offer change for a $12 drink when both my friend and I each provided a $20). The restaurant was swanky but overpriced for the food flavor.
The hotel decor and feel is amazing. The rooms are cozy yet modern. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Loved the art.

United States of AmericaYou're on your own with parking (no secured lot, no valet parking). There is a garage across the street and a couple public lots nearby. We parked on the street and it worked out fine (but I worried about it). The bed was very uncomfortable (an uncomfortable mattress compounded by an unpleasant plastic/rubberized mattress cover which does not belong in an upscale hotel). The room was spacious (they upgraded us, which we appreciated), but felt dark and kind of dingy. Other than a print over the bed, there was no art on the walls, which surprised us. The carpet in the living area was spotted (it's a pet-friendly hotel). No room fridge. No breakfast.
Have been wanting to stay in a 21c Museum hotel for a long time. For us, the location was great, near the restaurant and music venue we were going to. Art on the "public" walls is great. We did not eat at or go to the bar at the Savoy restaurant but it looked lovely and was very lively. They gave a coupon for a free late-night bourbon, which we ended up not using. The front-desk staff was kind and helpful. Although this review has some negatives, we would probably stay again if the location met our needs.

United KingdomBreakfast was not included in our package. The staff were largely helpful, but some were less than so.
The art displayed around the hotel was wonderful. Some of the installations were literally breath taking. The "pet" penguins around the floors were fun, you are invited to interact with them and to record your interaction with them. The dining room was classic American, we dined in "The Presidents Booth" the favourite of President Harry Truman. The bar is manned by an excellent cocktail making barman, he created a "one off" for my wife.

United States of AmericaI didn’t give the hotel 10/10 because I do think the old, not clean carpet in the room needs to be replaced with something more hygienic and clean. The hotel is so modern, but the rooms are a bit outdated in some aspects.
I absolutely loved this hotel!! I was there for work and love staying at hotels with personality. This definitely has it. There is art all throughout the hotel. Very friendly staff. Great restaurant and bar.

United States of AmericaSooo.. nothing to eat before 5pm and I mean nothing. very limited food options near hotel. We had 2 strange incidents with staff. One staff member starting crying in our room about her coworkers and we witnessed a loud argument between staff and a guest. Also our tv did not work and this seemed to be a problem all over the hotel
It is a beautiful trendy boutique. The art was impeccable and the room was gorgeous and roomy. The staff at check in was wonderful..our room was ready by 1pm.

United States of AmericaThe bed wasn’t very comfortable and the temperature of the room felt stuffy. I didn’t realize that the restaurant was going to be closed…one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because I wanted an espresso martini.
It is a beautiful hotel and unique stay! It was close to the things we wanted and felt upscale. The shower was amazing and spa like.

United States of AmericaTemp in our room was 77 degrees and when we went to the front desk they said it would cool down quickly. Then after a few hours it had not and they sent someone up to fix it which did not work. After another hour (10pm) they moved us to a different room.
Front desk manager was very nice and accommodating.
