Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRooms were on separate floors (when asked to be near) and questionable art work (hypodermic needle chandelier over tables ?) In all fairness, I am not up to date on "cool" art so....
Excellent breakfast. Quirky fun hotel with a great location. Staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable

United States of AmericaValue for the room. Seems like all the hotel rooms were charging high prices for the area. Older windows from historic building allows lots of sound in. It was a hotel room and while clean, I usually get more value. The hotel is nothing special or really different from other chains.
The place was clean and nice.

United States of AmericaThe building feels old and really needs a refresh, Especially the elevator areas. Our room could have used a redo for sure. Remove the tub and put in a nice walk in shower. 21c also needs to move out a couple pieces of art and create a comfortable "Lounge" area to just sit and chill in the morning. The whole vibe of walking into the hotel is old and cold.
The location is Great. Its the #1 reason we book this hotel. That and dog friendly. The staff is always great also. No complaints there.

United States of AmericaI loved my stay at 21c. The room is pretty average but the bathroom and shower were very nice. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant and bar. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating, making me feel like a valued guest every time I sat down. The food and drinks were top notch and felt luxe. Great location as well, very close to the conference center. I enjoyed my stay here.

United States of AmericaA couple minor things - the mattress was comfy but the bedding was a mess - it was two loose sheets with a thin blanket inside which just came apart and we fought with it during the night. I also would have like an extra bath towel or two.
The location was great and the room was clean. The museum was amazing and the nightly bourbon tasting to enjoy with it added to the experience.

United States of AmericaOne narrow elevator in operation when we were there - and that was shared with staff. Hot water availability was spotty. In a good part of downtown, the hotel is still difficult to access ( no on site parking). An additional note - on December 15, 2022 we requested a lower floor room, a request that was acknowledged by the hotel the following day. When we arrive we are offered a room on the seventh floor with no lower option.
Lockbox restaurant was very pleasant - staff and breakfast choices. Attractive hotel decor. Large comfortable room.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaThe room was set up weird. It had a mix of old and new furniture, the set up of the room left a lot of room unused. We did not like the unusual dark colors and the rug colors.
I loved the staff, the service, and the bar and restaurant were great and we loved the bartender and the food - I loved the bathroom, the robes, the refrigerator that they brought up
