Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bar had a leak and my bag was soaked after dinner. The staff said they had been trying to get a plumber to come fix it, but it would have been nice to have been told or have a sign not to hang my bag there prior.
The food in both the coffee shop and the restaurant was amazing. The cocktails were spectacular and there was a great collection of spirits. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, the museum was a fun walk through. I would come back just for the hospitality of the coffee shop staff alone. The man who delivered our food is such a gem! Loved that there was plenty of seating in the lobby with plugs as well so I could work for a few hours.

United States of AmericaNothing in particular comes to mind. I think one of the elevators wasn't working, but wait time was acceptable - might have been a problem if the hotel had been very busy.
Friendly staff, good meal at the bar, lovely room, very comfy bed. Only had coffee for breakfast, but that was all I wanted. Valet parking and car pick-up went very smoothly!

United States of AmericaOur shower needed to be sealed under the glass enclosure. Water kept getting on the bathroom floor when we showered.
We took time to visit the museum exhibition. It was definitely art that we would never have seen had we not taken the time.

United States of AmericaWe didn't get housekeeping at all while we were there. I even went to the desk to see if I needed to request it and was told that it was a daily service and would be provided. It never was during our stay. However, we got a late checkout (2pm) and between the typical checkout time and the time we actually left, housekeeping showed up to turn the room over several times.
The beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable. The room layout was nice. The pool and access to facilities were superb. My family enjoyed the on-site coffee house. I also thought that the valet was incredibly prompt and responsive.

United States of AmericaI wish they would let you take the robes home 😅
We booked this hotel room same day, we loved the aesthetic and the friendliness of the staff. The staircase throughout the building is gorgeous! Fairly new as well. There was an assortment of art that was beautiful and interesting. The museum is worth the visit if you enjoy that kind of thing, which we did. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A little on the small side but we opted for the smaller room option; it was perfect for 1-2 people. The bathroom has its own temperature control, which was a game changer. Large shower, soft and fluffy robes. The wellness facilities downstairs are amazing. Use of the wellness center is included with your stay, which I was thankful for because sometimes the spa areas are not included in your stay. The pool was huge and slightly warm, plenty of space for all the people and all the things. The hot tub was everything you could want from it, hot, roomy, with room to stand and sit. They also had a rain shower experience, a sauna and a steam room. The rain shower was unique and enjoyable. The entire hotel experience was good from start to end and we will be returning soon :)

United States of AmericaFlashing light on corner of ceiling— not sure if it was some sort of sensor— bit annoying when trying to get to sleep but that’s very minor.
Best indoor pool and hot tub I’ve ever had access to in a hotel — you could actually have a proper lap swim! Competitively priced for downtown. We parked on street (no trouble finding parking). Sorry we didn’t get to take full advantage of restaurant and bar and surrounding area— we were there for the eclipse and didn’t spend much time in St Louis itself. Nice to have a coffee shop in house. Good products in bathrooms (Malin & Goetz); comfy bed. Wish we had more time to check out the art gallery and loved idea of yoga in the gallery! I would definitely stay here again if we visit STL.

United States of AmericaThe night of our arrival the staff was extremely busy. It felt like they were understaffed for the number of guests. However, the staff we interacted with were working very hard, and doing their best to meet customer needs. It feels like management needs to better plan for staffing needs on such busy occasions.
The museum was amazing! I did not expect it to be so big, nor so well curated. It was honestly very impressive, and went so well with the hotel theme.
