Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was partly broken. Under the bed was filthy. . The zinc in the washroom was clogged. The host was impolite on the phone .

The communication was a bit off. It says you can inquire about shuttles but no one reached out about that. The toilet in the washroom barely flushes and the pillows were worn out. I think there were bed bugs because when I woke up in the morning, I had bite marks on my arm. A little bit of noise coming from the other rooms too.
It was located pretty close to the airport which was a good thing

They didn’t give any hair dryer, so ı couldn’t take shower not to catch cold.The taxi drivers told us that the area was not safe.
The room and the toilet were clean. Owner send a code and we easily checked in.

I don’t like the fact the blinds in king room was messed up and anybody can look thru them I also didn’t like the fact that I ask the owner way before time can I stay another day and he said it was okay nd then rudely told me told me get out and I had 10mins too after we made agreement I was respectful too him then he try to accuse me of taking some ones else keys to they room and I didn’t

Strong smell of cigarettes in my room and the floor was not clean. The bathroom, kitchen etc were OK. This is not a safe part of town.

Not responsive. The shared bathroom is in pretty bad shape and black mold in the tub. The shower curtain has a very strong moldy smell and the forniture are ready to fall apart. They claim to have an airport shuttle. This is not true. when I booked I asked them to confirm that, but they didn’t respond until a day before saying they don’t have that service anymore. The pillow cases were dirty and the lock of our room did not work.
The proximity with Newark airport and self check-in.

Because of our late arrival in JFK and delayed bag we have to stay till 22.30pm at the JFK airport, and our next flight was the next morning at 06am from EWR, so we travel to EWR 2h and it was after the midnight already and we do not have a time for anything. NO SHOW but I already pay for that the money are deducted from my card. I excuse to the property. Regarding the situation I had to do that. Thank you booking

Non smoking room but some previous guests used cannabis so the smell still there.
Quiet, have full kitchen tools and stoves for easy cooking.

the sticky floor & bench-tops in the kitchen. And that no-one is around nor is there a numner I can call if I accidentally lock myself out? I accidentally locked my self out, had no pass code to open front door, you have no door bell or intercom, it took a while, but i finally found my passcode and walked inside.
"How comfy were the beds"? - Yes comfortable - But I did rotate the mattress, due to the stains on head part - I turned the mattress so the stains wer at the feet. "How satisfied were you with your room"? Once room & bathroom was cleaned, it was lovely. I cleaned the Kitchen benches, because I didnt like that they were sticky. I was happy to clean them & the microwave. :) For the price of the room, we could have had some coffee & tea satches & Individually wrapped biscuits?? in our room, with the little creamer cups - I would use the kitchen to access hot water. That would have been very helpful & thoughtful for the price of the room. Merely my suggestion.

The bedding or mattress could have a bit of an improvement and the bed itself was also squeaky.
We didn’t get breakfast but we liked the inclusion of the towels and the parking was very convenient as well.

Key pickup and access needs to be different; the honor system does not always work.Also,its annoying when people are allowed to sit on the front steps and smoke( MJ and regular cigs)& block the door in doing so..Finally,sometimes people will leave the main/frontdoor cracked ( on purpose)...Shutting is expected for safety but its annoying..
MICROWAVE ,TOASTER,COFFEEMAKER IS AVAILABLE IN THE GOOD SIZED,MODERN KITCHEN.also a small mini fridge...Owner provides bottled water.

They didn't provide us with the key or the code for the front door. This causes us stuck outside at 11:30 p.m. for about 30 min until one of the customers come to survive us.
This is a good deal, and the environment is great for this price. The staff is nice, switch us to the first floor because us have two big luggage.
