Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI stayed one night. When I got into the room I was really surprised as to how clean and well maintained it was. However the only negative would be the toilet ran all night but when I reported it the next morning the staff was very concerned and apologetic about the issue.
Nice property, well kept and quiet.

United States of AmericaEverything was fine and good. At the time the ice machines weren't working so we had to go downstairs to get it from the desk and they made it enjoyable still.
I liked the staff and how they were cool and laughing with us. The first room we had didn't have the heat working so they moved us before we got situated.

New ZealandDidn’t like that the faucet in the shower broke on the first shower, however they were super quick to acknowledge it and fix it (but it hints to me there needs to be more proactive maintenance assessments in the rooms when cleaning them). Nor having the room key only set for one night. Attention to detail is important. The place needs a little work, lobby toilets were out of order.
The location was great. It's right next to the light rail network, which made it easy to get into Charlotte for sightseeing... A number of breweries just up the road etc, and close to the airport. The room was a really good size with a fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed, clean linen. The staff were all super friendly. Free coffee in the lobby was great and they were more than happy to store our bags until check-in as we arrived early morning. They offered us an early check-in but we didn't need it.

United States of AmericaNeighborhood is a tad sketch in places, but I'm usually going to the bar next door or as on this occasion getting a ride share to elsewhere anyway. CMPD is usually somewhere near anyway. You can safely walk around to food and such. Skyland is an easy walk and has great comfort food. Tryon House is just across Old Pineville Road and is great for Meat & 3 fare. Plus plenty of fast food nearby.
This is a former Four Points by Sheraton. This service is much more limited now, but it's still nice enough. It had just been fully renovated not too long ago So it's fine inside.

United States of AmericaThe beds could have been larger. I believe they may have been a full size or maybe I could be wrong. The toilet was a little low and the TVs didn’t work properly.
Both young ladies at the front desk during morning shift and night shift gave the best customer service I have ever experienced thus far at a hotel. They were kind, knowledgeable, willing to help, and very polite. This hotel experience was great for our homeschool field trip!

United States of AmericaThe only draw back is that you have to use the ROKU for the tv to work. You have to sign into all of your apps. If you have a firestick, you can connect, but there will be no volume...weird. We tried on both tvs.
The room was VERY clean and spacious! The front desk attendant was nice. Nice location as well.

United States of AmericaThe toilet didn’t have enough pressure, I had to hold the handle down in order to flush it. Other than that it was great.
Every thing in the room was nice and clean, the smell was very pleasant, the staff greeted me with curiosity, and very polite. I will come back on my next visit to Charlotte.
