Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Doesn’t have a vending machines for juices or sodas.
The location of this place was great, beach access just crossing the street. Beds are comfortable. Stayed with my service dog, but pets are also allowed. Value was just ok.

The room was a bit musty when we got there and the musty smell stayed. But that was probably a function of being next to the beach. If there was something they could do (maybe provide candles), that would be good.
I liked the location and the ease of entry/exit (including the parking). And I liked how clean it was. I also liked that there wasn't stand to bother us.

The lack of kitchen items. There was no cookie sheets or anything like that to maybe bake a frozen pizza. Kitchen cupboards are very sparse. We did not have any wash cloths for the bathrooms and after asking a couple of times, we were able to get some. The shower curtain does not reach the bottom of the shower so there is always water on the floor after showering. There were only five hangers, but a very big closet.
Great location, across the street from the beach! Could walk there and not have to pay for parking. The pool and hot tub along with many loungers and umbrellas were great. There is a great area off of the pool area with comfortable chairs and table to play cards, etc along with a water dispenser and Kurig. We were loaned beach chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach, which was great. Val was very accommodating and answered all our questions and needs promptly. The guest parking was right outside our door, very convenient. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great.

Tidy little apt well located and nicely set up. Good kitchen was available as was a washer and drier which would come in handy if we were staying longer.

My sister and husband had a reservation and never received the confirmation after paying and had nowhere to stay- they were offered a place n a sister location but the accomodation was not ready- then offered a different accomodation and that was not ready. At the last minute they needed to find lodging and it was an awful expereince.

Dishwasher with extensive mold and smelled bad. Bought cleaner still didn’t clean. Pots and pans dirty with oil but that’s probably related to prior tenant. Towel hook fell off wall-missing screw. Remote batteries missing- bought some. Shower head rather weak. Toilet keeps running. Chain catching in flapper. Adjusted chain.

Amenities list stated "coffee pot", for those of us who love coffee, a broken kurig is not a coffee pot. Some coffee pods to get us started would have been nice. (Starbucks is 1.5 miles away) Wine glasses would be nice. The sofa was so squishy that it was difficult to sit on. These things would raise it up. But it was cute and nice enough
Great location! Across the street from beach, walking distance to downtown Boca Raton with fabulous restaurants and shopping. Very clean. Free parking Shower is powerful and hot. Bed is comfortable and not "scary". Loved all that, we would come back

The shower flooded the bathroom because there isn’t enough of a grade for the water to drain into the drain. It would be nice to have coffee in the unit or out in the patio area. The temperature of the shower water is not hot enough.

The room lacked plates, bowls, and glasses. I made the reservation for 4 and we had only 3 place settings. The pool is under renovation which was not communicated during booking or prior to arrival. Luckily we could use the pool at a neighboring facility under the same ownership. Although there did seem to be an employee working at the office daily they prefer communication via email.
The location was perfect! Our room was nicely decorated.
