Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Just a suggestion. Maybe consider putting a chain lock on the inside front door.
We were happy with the location. The apartment was comfortable and nice.

Not much bad to say. Some minor things: The games in the cupboard that required dice had none. One side chair was unsafe with loose, wobbly legs. If 6 or more people are staying, there should to be more towel racks.
This was an amazing apartment! Spacious, clean, kitchen well stocked, in an area good for safe walking. Liked having the door code instead of a key and the location off Oglethorpe Square was perfect.

Only downside is the nightlife is booming in this area. You can hear commuters, horses trotting, and trolley tours going by into the late ours to early mornings. It is also close to a fire station and sirens can be heard close by as well. Although the noise is notable, it is tolerable and is kind of a quaint characteristic that adds to the charm of the property.
Very convenient location. In walking distance to popular and tasty eateries including the river walk and ferries. Beautiful scenery and history. The apartment is charming, clean, and very spacious. The owners are accommodating and seek to please their guests. We had a great time and plan to return!

Place could have been a little cleaner. Very little lighting/ mirrors for 5 girls to get ready. No ice trays to make drinks.
Location was perfect! Very central to everything. Everything was within walking distance.

Inconsistent information: Internet instructions in the house were not the same as the instructions at the bottom of the check-in email, and what was requested at check out also differed. Responses to emails were also slow.

Faucet in kitchen was loose but other than that it was great!
great location. Easy to get in and out of. Plenty of room. Parking was available in parking garage caddy corner to the home. Very convenient.

The layout of the second bathroom was awkward. The way the shower was built really cut into the doorway space. It made it a little difficult to get into the bathroom from the hallway, which for larger occupants could have been an issue.
There was plenty of room for everyone in our party. The master bedroom was spacious and allowed me a little privacy from the rest of the family. The location was perfect for all the walking we had planned. Hoping this property will be available on my next Savannah trip!

The hot water wasn't hot at all and when it did get hot it was only for a few seconds.
It was beautiful I loved it my favourite part was the master bedroom

Parking was a bit awkward
The location was good. I couldn't watch the TV in the back bedroom. The codes were sent to my work email the morning I left. I had sent an email to the property email requesting to use my personal email.

the king bed was good but the other beds were not comfortable and the leg on mid room was broken so we proped it up with a board we found in closet.

One of the bedrooms didn’t have AC but we were provided with plenty of fans and used one to bring the cold air from the living room into the room so we made it work.
The location was great! It was pretty central to everything we wanted to do and see. It is also a pretty easy walk to the riverfront.

We had no complaints!
Everything was amazing! It was very close to the river and restaurants and the area was beautiful! The home was very spacious, clean and had everything you would need (pots, washer, dryer, etc). Beautiful property! The hosts were quick to reply as well and helped provide a stay that we will remember!

The step down from the master suite was both surprising and treacherous for 4 aging women but we soon learned to step wisely and remember that there was a step. One bedroom, with no closet, could use more furnishings to accommodate luggage, etc.
Perfect location for not needing a car to tour the highlights of this beautiful city. The host kept in contact with us and promptly answered any questions that arose. All in all, very comfortable for four friends enjoying their 1st getaway together and we hope to do it again...same place, same time!
