Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn't love the price but that's the entire Key West town. For the price, the bed and linens were disappointing.
Patrick went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. He was incredibly welcoming and gave us fabulous suggestions for places to go. The Cabana was very nice, but Patrick made it exceptional. The hot tub was lovely and the location was perfect.

United States of AmericaParking. We paid for parking for our 3 day stay as it was far easier than worry about the few tight parking spots that we always occupied by the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe coffee machine in the lobby was broken, which was a bit of a bummer. I also felt like the pictures were a bit misleading, and I wish there were more details about which rooms had balconies, amenities, etc. Silverware and cups were lacking in the room, and if I booked the owners suite for the kitchen, I’d be really upset. The room is a bit worn in, and could use some repairs, such as the tile in the bathroom.
The location and ambiance were wonderful. The grounds were tranquil and the pool and hot tub were nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. I loved the nespresso maker in the room as well. They also let me check in a little early.

United States of AmericaThe mattress felt worn out at the position of my lower back. May be time to replace. There is a small construction project on the exterior of the second floor of the main house. Hopefully, it won’t take long to finish. We were there Sunday through Tuesday and they were working only on Tuesday. Parking your car is an extra. $30 per day if they have a spot which they did. I gladly paid it so my car was close but there is public parking throughout the island but don’t know the cost. The room is expensive for my normal vacations, but not out of line for Key West. All in all I would stay here again. Enjoy your trip!
Location was fantastic. On a side street just off Duval Street in old town. Breakfast was typical of a free hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but enough to eat to skip buying somewhere else. Free 24/7 Starbucks coffee machine was a great ammenity with some very nice teas as well. Happy hour 5-7 PM also a nice touch. Wine was free with a Cab, Pinot, Chard and Sauvignon Blanc, cheese, crackers and a quality nut mix as well. Comfortable open air property with hot tub and small pool with a water fall. Chairs, lounges and 4 cabana beds to hang out in on the interior of the property gives a secluded vibe from the rest of Key West. Patrick was a wealth of information and a very accommodating host! The room was clean and comfortable with a king bed. A small room but honestly who is hanging out in the room with all of Key West to explore! There was a balcony connected to our room overlooking the quiet side street where I did hang out quite a bit. Another pleasant ammenity. The overall feel of the place is friendly, quiet, peaceful and very Key West. I would stay here again!

United States of AmericaThe AC in our room didn’t get very cool in the warmest part of the day. The staircase going up to the third floor was pretty narrow. Having said all of that, we would absolutely book this place again and I’ll just bring a smaller suitcase to take up the stairs next time!
The location was central to everything and an easy walk. The hot tub was so relaxing. We loved the afternoon happy hour.

GermanyAbsolutely nothing.
Cute and lovingly designed hotel in the heart of Key West. Patrick welcomed us with a glass of wine and showed us this gem. Our room had tropical charm. Everything felt very authentic. Nevertheless, there was no lack of comfort. We slept like logs. There was a Nespresso machine in the room instead of those terrible cheap American coffee machines - a little culture can be so easy! :) At breakfast you had to be careful of a free-range chicken. It was a bit cheeky. We‘d love to come back!

United States of AmericaI liked the roosters, but want to mention that they wander the grounds and dining area, and crow most of the night. We lived it, but some might not.
Fabulous location- a block from the free bus stop and just off Whitehead street. 10 min easy walk to Mallory Sq. Older accommodations- nice pool, spa and gardens. Great breakfast. Also offers happy hour.
