The AC can get a bit loud. It didn’t bother me, I guess it was like white noise that helped me sleep. But I think it’s worth mentioning.

I love the location. It’s really just around the corner from Times Square. The front desk are very helpful and friendly. When I entered my room, it was very clean and I was welcomed with some sweets and a lovely note. That was a really pleasant surprise!

Just a block down from Times Square so well connected to two subway stations. Very small room but I expected that in Manhattan. Clean and served our needs. Our room was to the back and on the seventh floor so not noisy. We enjoyed our stay.

The check-in process was a bit of a nightmare. The staff was friendly, which helped, but it took 10-15 minutes to check in each guest. Our room wasn't ready at 3 (check-in time), but we only had to wait another 15 minutes until it was.

The location was perfect. Loved the room decor, and the beds were very comfortable. Rooms were very clean.

The wall paper in the room was extremely dated. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds ever. I can’t put into words the hallway wallpaper. It was straight out of a horror movie. Places needs a good upgrade. Also not sure of the point of the security card in the lobby. We just walked right in late in the evening.

The room was fine, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable to get up and down. Also, the desk was to big for the space.

We did not like the darkness and dreariness of the room. I am not talking about dark walls , that's fine, they we're very pretty walls. but lighting was very dim. We had the bed with a bunk on top. My daughter did not mind sleeping on the bunk. In fact, she preferred it. It is a great concept..however my sister and I shared the full bed. It was very roomy and comfortable. We are both in our upper 60s. Although we are in fairly good health and shape since we do take care of ourselves, getting in and out of bed was ver awkward. I lay near the window. The bed is surrounded by a platform. Close to wall..I was unable to get out of bed and just walk around. I would have to crawl over at the end of the bed where my sister was to go to the bathroom and would wake her up in the middle of the night. Plus, the fact is that it's just really not a good setup. It's ok for younger limber people. I could have walked on the platform, but it was narrow, and television on the wall was in the way I would bump it every time. Then, it was not easy for me to step off the platform since I was so high off the floor. The hallways are so dark and dreary. I am a person who likes a lot of light. Also, it was difficult to regulate heat. I had to keep the window open because it was too warm. Since heat rises up, my daughter did complain how horrible hot it was up on top of the bunk area. I did get up to go to the bathroom one night and grabbed the bunk railing to support me. It was so hot to touch. I could actually feel the heat difference. 🥵 I thought how happy I was. I didn't take the bunk bed. It's all about preference. I like a cold room. Actually, we all do, but someone who needs the heat may love it. I hate to say it did not meet my expectations, but in reality, it didn't. Location convenience is great, and I truly did not completely dislike it. If lighting was different and maybe other rooms offered may be more comfortable and larger.

I liked the convenience of location to train station. Since we always walk wherever we go in NYC, even if it's 60 blocks, it was nice not to have to rush. We came to see a comedian at The Town Hall, which was only 2 blocks away. Plus, we were right in the heart of everything. We travel to NYC a few times a year to see something different each time and experience what NYC has to offer. So this was a great location. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Check-in and check out were seamless. The hotel decor was very different. I do have to say I liked it. It gave me a Japan kind of vibe. My family did visit Japan a few months ago. So we felt some type of Nastolgic memory since we loved Japan so much. The hotel room gave us that vibe also. Also, I need to mention that the bathroom is 👌 awesome . The water pressure is not superb but still a nice experience. Nice big bathroom. And I love the extra large bath towels. .

A few things seem a bit outdated, but I cannot complain given how great the location was and how the hotel itself was pretty clean and nice overall.

The price for this location near Times Square cannot be beat!

The only issues we had were solved quickly by the staff which they were nothing major, just our original room keys not working at first and we had a sink plug issue that was fixed within minutes. However, I will say the smell/air in the hotel was definitely.. not the most enjoyable as it smelled like someone had been smoking on our floor and the air was very dry.. Room are definitely small and if you're not comfortable with who you're rooming with.. this hotel may not be for you..

The location was in perfect walking distance of everything my partner and I wanted to do. We got to check in early, and the bell hop was on top of making sure our luggage would be held for us til the actual check-in time. The check-in process was super smooth. The staff was super helpful with any problems we had.. which there were only 2 small issues, nothing of major complaint. Check out was also as smooth as check-in, and again, we were able to leave or luggage so we could explore the city some more before heading home. Despite being so close to timesquare we were able to sleep soudly as the noise wasnt too bad, however we are both from another busy city so we're used to loud environments. But even with that in mind, it was pretty quiet.
