Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

SpainThe location is great and everybody is very friendly and helpful. I have read a lot of negative comments regarding the breakfast, I instead think that the small one offered every morning (including week-end) is absolutely in line with the rates the hotel usually offers and it's good. Coffee, tea, muffins, croissant, fruits are available (of course early in the morning, as in most of hotels where breakfast is included) for all guests and it's a great plus to start the day, given the fact that a normal coffee in any other bar nearby would cost you 5$ at least! Those who expected a buffet breakfast or more should have booked somewhere else at different prices. The room are simply fine and ok for resting after the entire day out. The hotel is modest in all its service but good and and in very convenient location to visit the city.

PortugalIt was not bad enough that they advertise “breakfast” in the booking reservation but once you get there, it is not breakfast but rather a “grab and go”, where you only have access to 2 small pastries. On top of that, even with an established number of units per person, there were days we got there well within the “breakfast time” (7-10am) and nothing was left… this was very disappointing and upsetting.
The hotel has a great price vs quality ratio for NYC. Location and comfort were amazing. They also kept our bags until late afternoon and there is a rooftop.

United KingdomIt could do with some renovation especially the soundproofing in the room. We were on 15th floor, with a balcony which was amazing, but there were gaps between the door and the frame so it noisy. Obviously NYC / Manhattan is a busy and loud place.
Great location, best price I could find, helpful and friendly staff.

PortugalThe requirements for having the complementary pastries and fruit should be improved as they range ran out very early and before the deadline hour.
The location is great and the facilities, although a little old, are quite clean and pleasant. The hotel in includes complementary pastries and fruit for all guests, as well as a free water dispensary in several floors.

AustriaOn booking the room is sold with breakfast. As a European, this means a buffet. However, the buffet was very simple. There was fruit and 2 sweet parts (max. 2 per guest), coffee and tea. If you come after 8:30 a.m. you get almost nothing and the buffet isn't refilled either. For this price it should be declared differently.

BelgiumI would say, the breakfast was disappointing, I know coffee in the states is not good so for that I can’t blame the hotel but the choice of food you have is quite small to my opinion compared to other hotels, you are limited to 2 small pastries for each guests which to me sounds a bit like when you go on a school trip. I am not the biggest eater but I took 2 pastries each time because one is not enough You have croissant, almond croissant and chocolate croissant (sometimes) and muffins and cinnamon pastries but they are small, you don’t have bread, butter and all or eggs, you have oranges, apples and pears, you have coffee cream and milk but no hot chocolate (I don’t really drink coffee in the states because I know it is just not good but in general so not really the hotel’s fault and that is why I was hoping for a chocolate beverage). If you choose a room with booking, I would say be careful because the room you see won’t always be the room you’ll have (in my case at least). My room was okay even tho it was a bit small but my mom and I only used it to eat dinner, take a shower and sleep so it was okay.
It’s location is GREAT, you’re 10/15 minutes away from Central Park, 5/10 minutes away from the fifth avenue, 15/20 minutes away from Times Square and Bryant park, 10 mins away from Grand Central station …. The bed was comfortable and the staff was really kind and nice and ready to help you. 2 good points : the rooftop and the fact that you can fill your bottle with some water whenever you want, hot or cold or mid and you can have ice cubes.

United States of AmericaSaid they offered breakfast, but it was more like a snack, just some fruits and a muffin or croissant, which is okay, but would have been nice if it was clarified. Elevator was kind of slow. At one point we probably waited about 10min. (Where I decided to take the stairs 15 flights down).
Junior suite was very nice, spacious and accommodating. Beautiful view over the balcony. Clean. Staff was all very nice and friendly, helped with whatever you needed. We were able to store our bags there before and after check out. Easy to get to the subway on 59th.

PortugalBreakfast was awful! You can only pick two small pastries and a piece of fruit (apple or orange). Coffee is terrible! And that's it! End of breakfast! On the last day, we were locked out of our room at 11am. Check out was until 12pm.

CroatiaVery disappointing breakfast. On Monday only the fruits were served - apples, oranges, pears and one banana per person. On other weekedays there were also some mini pastries - 2 per person. I have never seen such a scarce breakfast (both in terms of type and quantity of offering). It definitely shouldn’t be anyone’s deciding factor when choosing where to stay in NY.
Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness.

IrelandThere was a strong smell of weed on our floor and in our room most days. The breakfast was an absolute disaster. Fruit, pastry and coffee were advertised, but we only got a pastry on our second day. The other days we got a tiny coffee and a piece of fruit. The lift/elevators are an absolute disaster also. They seem to block one of them off at peak times and the thing stops on nearly every floor even when there is nobody waiting at that floor. The stairs weren't really an option as we were near the top floor.
The location was amazing for where we wanted to go. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spotless and had a very fresh smell each day after the maids were in. The staff were great. Very pleasant and helpful.

Czech RepublicThere is no breakfast at all on weekends, then on Monday there was nothing as well (they said there were some issues with delivery) and on all other days, only apples and coffee were available after 9 AM. Staff told us they usually offer croissants and sweet pastries so it's not really a real, continental breakfast - it's more of a grab and go kind of thing. There was not much sunlight in the room, but I'd say that's normal & expected in NYC. Hotel does show signs of tear and wear (although room we stayed in was more than good!) but it still offers good value for money.
Location, location, location! It was absolutely fabulous, Times Square and Rockefeller center were within walking distance plus accesses to lines E, M, F, N, Q, R, 4, 5 and 6 were max five minutes away from the hotel. Walking back from Times or from bars on 3rd Av in the evening was not a problem since neighborhood is quite safe. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious and clean, room was cleaned every single day. During check in we asked for "a room with a view", staff was ultra nice and they gave us a room on 12th floor (almost no noise coming from the street and from the next-door construction site), since no rooms with a view were available. Built-in (wall) closet was cool as it saved some space in otherwise not very big room. The big, shared terrace seemed really cool although we did not spend a lot of time there (we were out since early morning till the evening each day and weather in evenings was not the best) BUT I believe it's a totally different story during summer nights. Before visiting (but only after booking) I read experiences / reviews mentioning i) an extra, hidden, mandatory fee for the gym and conference center and ii) a fee for luggage storage; neither is true. There is absolutely no gym/conference center - related fee, nor there is a surcharge for storing the luggage (as long as you pick it up the same day).

United KingdomThe Grab and Go breakfast was gone at 07:30 despite the advertising of breakfast between a certain time. It was fresh but in no way was breakfast grab and go available at 8 am. This really does need addressing by any organisation that advertises this hotel and facilities. A lady stood and rationed out pastries. Not available on weekends. So it’s not worth writing in the advertising and I booked this hotel on the basis that a small breakfast was available to start the day.
Location. Space of room. It was clean. Quiet.

IndiaThe grab and go breakfast (not so great) was standard every single and no variation was available. Moreover it was limited to 2 per person. No parking available.
Stayed for 6+1 nights. Excellent location. All tourist places were close-by. Room was comfortable and very clean, also had a beautiful view of the Chrysler. Had a safe, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer and toiletries provided in the room. Many eateries were there just below the hotel. Housekeeping & Front desk people were friendly. Water not provided in room, however water (hot & cold) and ice dispensers were available in the premises. Good to have a Gym in the hotel.

CanadaThe breakfast lady was rude. The 3rd day we were there, we came down for breakfast around 9:30. There was no muffins and croissants out. I went to find the lady and she told me that "everyone here has been served". I mentioned that we just arrived so she allowed me to pick 2 muffins. A few minutes later, still nothing out so I went back to her and asked for 2 more. "You already had your 2 muffins, there is a limit of 2 per person you know". I mentioned that my wife was with me so she allowed me to pick 2 more. More than 10 minutes after we arrived and with many more people that had to go beg for their muffins, they finally brought a box of muffins out. "Limit of 2 per person" pointing to the sign taped to the wall. I don't know if this behavior is a result of penny pinching coming from the hotel direction or just a power trip but this is an unacceptable behavior. PS: I took an extra muffin just to prove a point 😋
